This was a fun Oops I accidentally married a hot cowboy in vegas story.

The found family in this book was so heartwarming. Mav was loved as if he were blood, and they instantly took Ava under their wing too. Seeing Ava find the support and love she'd been missing for so long was beautiful. Mav is secretly super sweet and found ways to help take the weight off of Ava.

I love a good forced proximity. Having to share a tiny cabin definitely added some tension. We didn't get to see them getting to know each other as much as I would've liked but the romance was cute and they had great banter.

We also get an excellent Don't talk to my wife like that moment. And there is an adorable baby cow.

I adored Aspen and her friendship with Ava. I hope we get her story next because she deserves that happy ever after.

This was my first lil toe dip into the darker romance. Starting with a dark romcom seemed like fun. It's not normally something I reach for but I love Evelyn Leigh. Anything she writes I'm picking up and let me tell you I am obsessed with this book. It was so fucking good.

I was in love with Cèsar from the start. He's so caring. He saw Diedre in a way no one else did (figuratively and literally). He knew what she needed and just did it. Mowing their lawn in his hoochie daddy shorts *chefs kiss*. It also helps that he's so damn funny.

I love Diedre and the PCOS plucking your beard and still being stunning representation. She may be softer than the rest of her family, but she proves to everyone, including herself, that she is not weak.

The banter was excellent and the spice was spicing. 10/10 no notes.

Regina had me cackling. I need more of her asap. She's so badass and also hilarious. I think I need her in my girl gang. I also need to know what happened.

This is the first book I've read in this series but catch me running to buy the first two because I am obsessed with the Foxx brothers. Ngl kinda glad I read them out of order because everyone's sad the series is over & I get to dig back in.

I love a slow burn and the tension in this is hawt. The yearning is next level and it's explosive when they finally give in to it. They have the perfect balance of sweet & spicy in their relationship. They were made to be together.

I understand how Ace feels because I also wanted to watch the people who hurt Hadley burn. Hadley is so fucking badass and I love that she found a real family who helped her feel safe and loved. Her relationship with Gris & Lincoln was beautiful. But I also love that she doesn't take shit from anyone especially not her husband.

As for the suspense side of the story boy was that dramatic. The end was explosive and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I'm still struggling a bit on how to rate this. It was a quick easy read and there were some great characters. The circus family is lovable and there are some fun characters. Fuck Jake though.

Not much seems to happen in this book but they also manage to move super quick. I didn't really feel the chemistry or tension between them. I think it feels off because we don't actually get to see much of Myla & Dani interacting. We're told they are falling for each other but I wanted to see it. The pacing is off and it just felt like we missed every major development in the relationship and were told about it after the fact.

I also struggled with Myla. She felt a bit immature (how she reacted in vegas) and was a bit annoying with her constant lack of communication even with her friends. They did make a cute couple in the end though and the BBs were adorable.
