The story was ok but the main relationship wasn't really anything special to me. The forced roommate situation seemed like one of those tropes only used to get them to sleep together, but the author wanted the characters to get to know each other first to get the reader more into it. And there wasn't really any reason for them to be into each other except physically... there wasn't that much chemistry in their personalities. It was really weird to me that he came to stay in his cousin's  apartment in the first place.
It was really weird when she basically offered to give up her entire life and follow him to Spain a few weeks after meeting him. And probably weirdest when she completely accepted him back no questions asked, after he rejected and ghosted her and randomly shows up again to surprise her.

The female narrator was fine but I hated the male narrator. He kind of reminded me of Antonio Banderas as puss in boots, except more drawn out and obviously trying to lower his voice and make it breathy to sound sexy. Super annoying.
I liked the first half. During the last half of the book I was just waiting for it to be done.

I really wanted to like this book. My sister and her wife suggested it to me and usually I like their suggestions.
I don't know, I just wasn't interested. I kept zoning out. I finished it, but I didn't like the writing all that much, and the characters were not interesting to me. The story was OK but not as intriguing as it had been described to me. I might try and read the second one at some point but for now my TBR has many more books that I'm excited about.

This reminded me a little bit of Hank Green's An Absolutely Remarkable Thing. Personal, but kind of a statement on sociology.

I don't know why I listened to this. Three very unlikable people get into an argument after being passive aggressive all day. That's the entire plot. The characters are flat, uninteresting. None of the relationships between the three are healthy which I think is the point, but it doesn't say anything. I did like the narrators voices, and listened on 3x so at least I only spent just over an hour on this one.
