Well isn’t this just cutest and most cozy romance I’ve read so far this year. This book is like a golden retriever… fluffy, adorable, laugh out loud funny, and easy to love.

If you’re looking for a light fantasy with slow burn romance with not tons of world building, I definitely recommend The Bridge Kingdom books.

Easy reads, tense battle scenes, with plenty of revenge and vengeance. 

MMC is a warrior but also a golden retriever. Aren is so pure.
Lots of character development for the FMC Lara along the way, plus she’s also a fricken badass. I was delighted with how quickly I fell in love with this pair.

A mythological retelling of Persophene &!Hades. A story of love, loss, grief, growth, and acceptance. This is the second book in the series of Persophene’s perspective! 

Maddening, gut wrenching, and heartwarming all at once.  So much character development in this second book for Sephy. Found myself capitavated quickly with the storyline, just like I fell into the first book of the series. 

Hades tho, gods be damned this man does it for me 🔥🔥🔥

Less steamy than the first book in my opinion but I devoured and enjoyed it just as much. I’m glad Persophene is growing into the goddess she’s meant to be. 100% yes I recommend these books if you like:

Ughhhhhhh man this one was a bit frustrating for me. There’s miscommunication, the FMC has inner dialogue that I didn’t really connect with. it’s freaking steamy, like really hot, but COME ON Y’ALL the resistance to ACTUALLY get to banging???? you’re telling me i read 386 pages of steamy fucking slow burn and they don’t bang????? i’m screaming!!!!!! rolling in my grave!!!!! I want to know what happens but I’m so freaking mad. Nyafin just dips out at the end?? This book drove me mad but I stayed interested the whole time?????? 

MMC & FMC are both so stubborn it hurts. Will I read the next one? Yes, I’ll continue. But I S2G if they don’t figure something out, accept the mating bond, and bang in the second one I’m out 😩😩😩

Wings Once Cursed & Bound is a Thai folklore retelling about a girl named Peeraphan. When an old friend gifts her a pair of beautiful red shoes during a dance practice, she slips them on and it almost feels as if they were made just for her. There’s one big problem… the shoes won’t come off. 

Bennet is a vampire, he belongs to a group who locates magical objects, and locks them away so they can’t be used for malicious purposes. When he discovers he’s too late to warn  the shoe’s next victim, he teams up with Peeraphan to help her find a way to get them off… and hopefully keep her alive. 

An urban fantasy folklore retelling. 
This one felt like a mix between cinderella & the sookie stackhouse series. I really enjoyed the asian representation and diverse characters. Bennet & Punch are definitely Grumpy x Sunshine, and their character development was steady and smooth throughout the storyline.

Worth it if you enjoy urban adventures with a classic romance storyline & magical/mythical elements!
