Trouble connecting with the characters. 

Tried 3 times with this one and unfortunately the plot and characters just couldn’t keep me engaged. 

one of the love interests has my brother’s name and I just can’t 😩 i really tried 

i couldn’t handle the run on sentences 😩

DNF & 26%. 
Reads like a younger YA writing style or fanfic & just couldn’t keep me captivated sadly. 

Concept was there, execution and dialogue felt corny to me. I know everyone loves it i’m sorry :/

I found this book repetitive and the writing to be moderately condescending. Wasn’t for me. 

DNF’d & 44%, I really hate not finishing a book, I feel guilty. While Morton’s writing style might be right up other’s alley, for me it droned on in a way that wasn’t keeping me engaged. 

Maybe I’ll come back to this one at a point but unfortunately for now, it’s being shelved as DNF :/ 

I was curious, just felt myself putting off finishing this book and reaching for another.
