I have to start off by saying a big thank you to Zahlia Amin and Storygram over on Instagram for gifting this book.

I really enjoyed this book but when I first started reading I was wishing for more character development. Boy, I am so glad I kept reading, the development of the characters was perfect. I felt like I was growing with them and how Zahlia Amin wrote the chosen trope was spot on. They acted as if someone would really act if they were thrown into that role. Then that ending, I really need the next book ASAP. I can't get enough of the world and characters.

This book got me out of a reading slump and just helped me get out of my head. It also made me want to bake bread, I have to make my own starter now.  I have felt like Lois Clary before and I still feel like her. I will be reading more from Robin Sloan soon.

I have to say Overthinking About You by Allison Raskin was my favorite read in May. It made me realize a lot about myself and what I needed to work on. I will be recommending this to my friends that are single or in a relationship. I also didn't know I needed this book in my life, and it is something I will re-read again. I can't wait to read more from Allison Raskin in the
future.

Thank you Tandem Collective and Workman pub for gifting me this book for the readalong

I didn’t think I would really like this book as much as I did, it even made me cry. Just thinking that if it wasn’t for Willem Johan Kolff who started dialysis for kidney and artificial heart, I wouldn’t have known my grandad. Paul Craddock, the author, wrote that even the Layman could understand it. He even narrates his own book which I loved. I have learned a lot about transplants then I knew that was out there. Spare Parts has me wanting to read more about
medical history and where it started.

Thank you Netgalley, St. Martin's Press and Macmillan Audio for letting me review this book.

I enjoyed this book but I really couldn't stand is how much that mentioned Zak Bagans, other than that I loved it. I really can't wait to visit all the places in this book that I haven't been in before.

Thank you Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Audio for letting me read and review his book.

I can say for certain that T.Kingfisher is one of my favorite authors, I will be getting everything they buy.  This book was wonderful, I couldn't put it down but I did have to get some sleep. I think my favorite character has to be the gravewitch and the fairy godmother, they made me laugh out loud at points. Then there is Bonedog which he had my heart and now I really want a bonedog. I also had the audio of this book, and I highly recommend to get it as you follow along with the physical book. I can't wait to read more from T.Kingfisher.

Thank you Netgalley, Tor Books and Macmillan Audio for letting me read and review Nettle & Bone.

This was my first Don Winslow book and it was also a little out of my comfort zone, I was really glad I read this book.  I love watching movies and TV shows like this book, so I don't know why it took me this long to pick up a book like this. I really couldn't put it down and I could have read it in one day, but I wanted to take my time with it. I do have to say it dragged a little in some parts but it didn't take me out of the story. I will be picking up more from Don Winslow in the future and recommending him to all my friends.

Thank you Tandem Collective, Harper Collins and William Morrow Books for letting read and review City on Fire.

I want thank HOWL Society Press for sending me this book for an honest review

What I loved about this book is that it was like you were visiting an museum with haunted artifacts and with the curator telling you about each artifact that sends you back in time. When I was reading their part I kept picturing demonologist John Zaffi, like his aunt and uncle Ed and Lorraine Warren has a haunted museum, plus he had a show called Haunted Collector.

I read this book in a day, well almost I did have to go to sleep. The pacing of the book I think fit the story wonderful. Also now I don't see Apollo as an a$$ like I used to and that took me by surprise. Yes the attraction between Apollo and Hyacinth was instant but it wasn't insta love which I really did enjoy. I started guessing the twist in the middle of the book, that is the only thing I really didn't like. Other than that I need the next book ASAP.

thanks to Netgalley and Victory Editing for the e-arc!
