I’d like to smack my 7th grade self for rating this a 3… arguably better than the first. Iswis.

How to Tell When We Will Die: On Pain, Disability, and Doom

Johanna Hedva

DID NOT FINISH: 42%

Meh. Was expecting more medical related stuff and less relationship/sexuality talk. There’s a time and a place (which I’m all for!) but this book wasn’t… upfront about that? I want medical/disability memoirs. This talked about disability so briefly despite it being in the title.

This is now the third book in where I’ll be needing to send Kristin Hannah my therapy bill.

Has a lot of good points but also keep in mind that she’s lowkey a “pick me” & her behaviors are wack— and that’s coming from someone who’s been told I’m “a lot” by many people (mainly men). If I thought I was intense??? This girl is me x 1,000
