I loved the low brow illustrations in this story. The Heart Shaped Leaf was a really cute story. I loved the concept and the idea. I just wish that there was a little bit more to it. I feel like it was a bit rushed towards the end.

Life on Earth: Planet Earth is a really fun, educational learning experience. It is not simply a book of information. It is full of question flaps, that you can lift to see the answers. I think interactive books are an amazing way to learn and teach! The takeaway is always higher with interactive learning materials.

Colourful and fun this book is fantastic and I will be on the lookout for any in this series for my kids.

That was such a fun and educational read. Comics, bright illustrations, jam packed with scientific information, The Element in the Room is a great book for kids (and adults) of all ages. I found it flowed really nice and was so easy and simple to understand. The checklists helped to easily identify what each element was found in, and the numerous bubble tidbits about each element made the book informative without becoming convoluted.

I think I could have easily gotten higher grades in High School Chemistry if we’d had this book in earlier grades to learn the basics.

What a fascinating woman. Jane Goodall is an activist for chimpanzees. This quick book takes us from her love as a child to her passion as an adult. I’m afraid to go into our nearby woods with people, how strong her passion must have been to move into the jungles to study the chimpanzees.

This book is simple, easy to follow and colourful.

My First Fact File Ancient Rome is a wonderful book. I learned a tonne about Rome in an easy to understand way with colourful illustrations. Rome is a fascinating place in history, with the last still evident in today’s societies.

I think this style of learning tool could really help anyone learn in an enjoyable and easy way. The book is interesting and interactive. I want the whole set for me and my kids!

“Earths oceans help to spread heat from the sun around the globe.” This is one of MANY fun facts from the My First Fact File Weather book. I didn’t know this fact, and it seems like such an obvious thing now that I do. This book was fun to read, informative and interactive. I loved the illustrations and the fun activities throughout.

This type of learning appeals to me because it’s interesting and keeps you involved.

While I liked the style of drawing this story wasn’t for me.

I found the story difficult to follow in the beginning. I also found the children drawn looked far older than children. I was having a hard time picturing them as kids, it was like childish teenagers.

Cool concept but it just didn’t work in my mind.

Okay. So first off I didn’t begin reading this book intending to cry or have any feeling beyond “awe what a cute children’s book”, but this book was fantastic and I had all of the feels by the end.

An adorably illustrated book about a little boy who follows his dreams to become a knight. Many adventures and persevering later the knight meets a princess and prince when he saves them from a dragon. When the princess asks for his hand in marriage he informs her he has fallen in love with the prince.

Holy plot twist!

This story screams be yourself! Be brave! Love who you love! Never underestimate you power to be amazing and for the world to accept you for who you are.

The pictures and rhyming were fun to follow and the way the story ended was just perfect. A different kind of fairy tale and I am so in love with it!

I’m on the fence with this book. I liked the story. It was definitely a feel good, happy ending kind of story and it worked. The pictures, being roughly drawn were still really cute and I actually liked them for this story.

What I struggled with was I felt it sometimes was quite wordy where it didn’t need to be. Sometimes it was hard to follow for this reason. As a kids book with a happy ending I think it’s great. Just not for myself and my kids.
