Llamas With Lemonade is a simple alphabet book for kids. My 17 month old son loved the illustrations and got excited about reading this book.

This could easily be one of his favourites due to the size, colors and simplicity of it.

I loved the illustrations myself, as they were very cute and colourful.

Our BIg Little Place is a book about a child who lives in an apartment building. While it was cute, the story was so specific to apartment living that it just wasn’t for me or my kids.

It was interesting to see the imagination required when living in a small space (using a community park or the hallway).

I liked this story. Mel and Mo are identical twins who have very different opinions on pretty much everything. So much so that they spend years not speaking to one another. In the end they realize their differences bring balance to each other and it is okay to disagree.

Cute illustrations and a cute simple story.

Alright, that was a delightfully fun story. The Cow Said Neigh! Is a mixed up sound book about animals who long to be another animal.

Silly rhymes, fun noises and bright illustrations make this book great for younger kids.

Robert Munsch is a classic storyteller. His books are. A huge part of my childhood. This was a fun book to read, having a mix and match of all his fun past characters.

A very simple read for little kids and pictures to match the moods.

I love when they bring classics back to life with new breath.

Tallulah is a determined child who will stop at nothing to play the tuba. Even though she is told she is too little she thinks outside of the box and changes her perception when she realizes the tubs is too big.

Witty and fun this book was a delight to read.

I had such high hopes for this book. I normally find these types of books witty and humorous. However I just didn’t feel this book lived up to my expectations.

It was just slow and not very interesting to me.

Great concept, just not for me.

Journaling is something I believe can help calm people and reduce stress and Anxiety. I will be showing this to my teenage daughter so she can do this journal herself.

This wholesome story of Dolly Parton is beautiful. The story shows her life from her humble upbringing in a family of 12 siblings, to meeting the love of her life Carl, to becoming a world renowned singer. Learning about her love of literacy and how she would send books to children who couldn’t afford them makes me love her more.

I love the illustrations and how they are coloured. A little tougher with the marker lines, but beautiful none the less. It is a great style.

This books title says it all. It teaches you how to draw 62 magical creatures, and make them cute. What it is missing is “Simple, anyone can do it,” but I suppose that would be too long.

I tried my hand at one of these creatures. With the step by step simple drawn instructions it didn’t turn out too bad. I will definitely be giving more of these a try. This is fun and simple. My thirteen year old is also giving some of them a try.
