Beaver is a perfectionist. His birthday is here and he wants to to be perfect. His friends want to help him and when they do chaos ensues.

Beaver quickly learns that sometimes we need to be more mindful of others feelings and appreciate the help we get.

Cute story. Adorable drawing. Great message.

Such an adorable book. Great rhymes. Cute illustrations. A wonderful story.

The imagination of a child can be so vivid and I feel this book showed that in a great style.

It also showed the value of friendship and the importance of patience.

Pacho Nacho Nico Tico Melo Felo Kiko Rico is a young boy who gets into trouble with his younger brother Juan.

Juan’s trying to alert the adults who continue to make him say Pacho Nacho Nico Tico Melo Felo Kiko Rico‘s full name.

It’s a silly story based on a Japanese (and later a Chinese) children’s long name song. I remember singing Tikki Tikki Tembo as a kid.

This was a great read.

I hadn’t heard of Evonne Goolagong before. I love books for kids about strong females. Hearing about someone inspirational can be huge for a child. Especially a woman in sports.

Another great edition of Little people Big dreams. Maria Montessori, a female who beat the odds and showed the world that through love and education many problems can be solved or alleviated.
Another strong female in history who helped create a better world.

This is such a beautiful and fun book. Each set of pages is assigned one color of the rainbow. Illustrations in that color as well as reasons why they are loved. A really fun book to read with my son.

Thank you netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I loved pippi longstocking as a child. Getting to know the woman who created her was really fun. Sweet, vivid, bold drawings matched well to the wild character Astrid Crete’s. It’s always really cool to see where and from whom an idea comes from. .

A cute story for kids about the importance of slowing down and kindness. I thought the story was sweet and the characters were drawn in a cute way. That word sacrifice threw me off a bit (lol jk) but truly this was a good read for my son.

The art in Punk Mambo was so bold and gritty and striking. I had major tank girl feelings when I requested and started reading this.

Unfortunately the narrative fell a bit flat for me and I I ad a hard time following the dialogue.

Great concept.

I really loved “What’s Mommy Going to Do” and this one was just as enjoyable. It is a fun interactive book for kids. Colorful and bright with simple language my son enjoyed this one a lot.
