Boy, can I ever relate to this book. A super simple book about some fun aspects motherhood. Mountains of laundry, a hot cup of coffee and silly escapades. A flip book of fun. Vibrant pictures and simple language make this book fun for younger children.

Mister Rogers was a kind, sensitive soul. His strength came from his ability to care for others and learn new ideas. He took true care to be better all of the time and promote education and kindness all the time. This book was beautiful. Reading little tidbits of love and life from mister Rogers was fun and uplifting.
A really cool book. Teaching us to step outside our own domestication and be more in touch with nature. Mindfulness and appreciation allow us to be more in touch with nature and in turn ourselves. We don’t need to give up our cities and our lives but it’s important to remember where we’ve gone from and get in touch with that part of ourselves again.
As a child I was obsessed with dinosaurs. As an adult I have been able to explore more about the creatures in our past and I am fascinated with the progress in information provided about these giants from long ago. This book was really neat. It had up to date information and wasn't overwhelming with information. It felt like both me and the kids could enjoy it as it was easy to understand without being too simple. I would like the print copy BETTER but this was still a great read on the kindle version. The illustrations were beautiful.
First off let's talk about the simple beauty that is this cover. It is just stunning. This was such a raw and powerful book. I felt like I could understand the WHYS behind it because I have felt them myself. I also felt that even though there was a heavy focus on God, swap that with spirituality, or faith, or positive vibes and the message still sticks. We are meant to be happy and alive. We are stuck in a society that creates these lonely feelings of disconnectedness. We need to be unique and appreciated while navigating a world that is so loud and selfish. But we al want the same things. This was helpful and beautiful and I really enjoyed the natural focus.
This was such a fun book to read. Emma, is a sweet girl who is deaf. The books language is important, instead of saying “said” it says “signed” differentiating. I loved that. There were ASL words signed through the book for kids to learn how to properly fingerspell.
Inclusion and representation is important. This was a great story showcasing a beautiful difference in Emma.

An adorable and educational book for kids about deciduous trees. Told through the views of a cottonwood leaf named Lance who is afraid to fall. Lesson also learned are that it’s okay to be afraid.
I never heard about Vivienne Westwood prior to this. But I know I’d like her in real life. She seems like a down to earth and kind person. I love how these books bring to light the well know and maybe not as well know people in history. The colors were bright and vivid. The illustrations were cute.
This was a great book. Simple and easy to understand and give kids the tools and power to stand up to bullys. I know it isn’t as easy as eating jelly beans to find strength, but to even create a dialogue is enough. I think the Bully’s Everywhere Are Now Stopped was a great message.
The tools at the back are also great to learn how to spot and deal with bullies as well as recognize if you yourself are one.

TW- miscarriage and loss. This beautiful and sad story of loss and how the people we love can help us to overcome, or live with our grief. The simple and kind way this story of miscarriage is presented is child friendly and easy to understand. The egg falling as a symbol of miscarriage was quite beautiful. An egg that is so fragile and small... it is a perfect symbol.
This may not be for everyone as we all deal with grief in different ways, but I think it’s a good tool.
