This book of brain teasers was more difficult than I expected. There were puzzles I’d never seen before, and my favorite (cryptograms). I feel this had a fairly balanced group of brain teasers that challenge you and are fun. I was slightly disappointed there were no word teasers (eg a scuba diver is found soaking in the middle of a burned down forest, how did they get there) but overall I still enjoyed this.

I want to make my kids all of the vehicles in this book. My son especially is a huge fan of anything that vrooms. The possibilities are endless for creativity. At the end of playtime you can reuse or recycle the toys. I think it’s a great alternative to expensive plastic toys that break and destroy the environment.

It teaches our kids to use their imagination and to be gentler with the things they’re playing with.

Fantastic idea.

Happiness is a state of mind and a choice you make. That is what Ripple the dolphin teaches Bob the Blowfish when he is stressed and afraid of Snark the shark.

A great message to teach kids. You choose happiness and happiness will choose you. It is contagious and it spreads when you offer it to the people around you.

I think the best part of this message is to not give up on unhappy people.

Splodge is a unicorn. He is dirty and a klutz. He is written off by others because of his appearance. Tilly helps out at the unicorn rescue sanctuary. Tilly decides she will adopt him and take care of him. It takes a while but with determination and patience she is able to help Splodge be the best unicorn he can.

Cute drawings. And a great story about patience and love. My son enjoyed this one.

I love stories about misfits. I will also point out that splodge toots glitter. So... that’s fantastic.

The book of Flying Machines is full of bright illustrations of airplanes, helicopters, jets and more. My son is a fan of all things that fly and without words he still enjoyed this one.

When my daughter was 10 she was obsessed with slime. Every container we owned was filled with the concoctions she created.

This book brought me back to that. I don’t dare show her for the fear of my house being over run with Cloud slime, snow slime, smelly slimes, crunchy slimes... you name it it’s slimy.

Great how to book with actual recipes. Slime is actually a really cool experiment a. Fun for kids to play with. Supervised.

If your kid is. A slime officianado like mine was I definitely recommend this book

An incredible book filled with inspirational people from across the 50 states. The page layouts were crammed with Information, quotes and illustrations of each person. It was bright and bold and really well put together. Some of these people I know and love. Others I’ve never heard about but it was really interesting to hear their story.

I love motivational and inspiring books. This is one of the best I’ve seen. It was fun to read.

As a parent in today’s society it can be hard to find a balance between calm and chaos. Allowing your children to blossom into their creative selves without stifling them while you help them become society ready adults, can feel like a challenge.

I felt this book was really great and helping us as parents calm and let the kids take the lead. Just follow along and encourage them. Easier said than done at times and I think we are all guilty of micro managing sometimes.

A bunch of great craft ideas with questions to ask your children about what it is they’re creating.

I love arts and crafts. I think it is a fantastic way to encourage imagination, and creativity while doing something that is beautiful together.

Fluid pouring and resin pouring are both diy crafts I have wanted to try since the first time I saw them. The end results look incredibly beautiful and each outcome is completely unique.

The number one rule is to have fun and not worry about perfection. The number two rule is to use the proper materials. This book was so helpful in learning techniques and what tools and materials are required.

So many great diy ideas that can be done by anyone at any level beginner or professional.

This book was a fascinating 15 scientific ideas. What they mean. What has been done with them. Who was involved with them. Over 50 brilliant minds who took a thought and helped to revolutionize our world.

What amazed me was Democritus (460-370 BCE) was one of the first people to suggest that all matter is made up of individual particles called atomos. This is incredible. Way way way back in the day when modern scientific advancements were simply a dream and these ideas were already in place. The human mind is vast and full of Infinite brilliant potential.

This whole book shows how infinitely incredible ideas can be. Something you think about today, may in 200 years be proven to be true.

Keep on dreaming.
