I agree that this would have been better if it stayed an article. The last section felt out of place and dragged.

 

 Reads a lot like fiction, very engaging. Wild that he was able to get away with stealing billions of dollars worth of art 

 I remember reading the impact statement on BuzzFeed when it first came out and being astounded. Wonderfully written. A great examination of a survivor's experience in the legal system 

 What a wonderful series. A highlight of my reading this year
