Brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, totally unique!

This book is sad & covers some heavy topics, but it’s also lighthearted & will leave you with a smile on your face. Also, the author is hilarious & the googling everything is so relatable!

This book is a puzzle in the shape of a story.
Each sentence is a riddle.
Each page holds a clue.
Each chapter conceals a secret.
Until the end. When everything fails to come together or be explained.
 
I was so excited to read this book. I really loved it up until the last 100-200 pages. I was in awe of the storytelling and imagery. The adventure, wonder, and mystery were dazzling. But unfortunately, I got lost in the labyrinth of vague metaphors and meaningless symbolism. Not to mention the bland characters and the insta-love.

If I didn't have to overthink and analyze things I'd give this book 10/5 stars. But I'm the type of person who needs everything in a story to make sense and have meaning. The ambiguous ending left me in a disappointed haze. I just don't get what the point of everything was.

I'll still give this book 4/5 stars because I truly loved most of it.

I, too, would like to go to university to study Death, Stars, and Mathematics. 

This book is a monstrous nightmare. And I mean that in a good way. 

This was a pretty good book but I didn’t see the point in Jesus being in it at all. He could have been any random man & the overall plot would be mostly the same bc it’s about Ana, not him.
I really loved the stories of Ana, Yaltha, Diodora, & Tabitha. I wish the book was only about them, their trials, & their time in Alexandria & with the Theraputae bc those parts were amazing.
