I keep being like, this series is dumb why am I still reading it, and then counting down the days until the next book comes out. This installment did not disappoint – tons of tension, the least healthy relationship dynamics possible, unnecessary physical strain/ violence, hot sex etc. Somehow Mas manages to essentially write the same book over and over and I keep coming back. A generally baffled 4.5 out of 5 – I can’t wait for the next one *I guess*.
