dark reflective fast-paced

There is something so terribly familiar about this brand of horror. It's like you're looking at life through the eyes of a child. 
The story with the cereal box freaked me out the most because I used to do the same thing as a kid: become obsessed with something so innocuous to others, but deeply terrifying to me.
And then you get to the adult portion of this book and you're in a whole new world of terror.

I found the speech bubbles to be a bit too eye-catching in some pages, so it sort of spoiled the punchlines of some jokes. I was still laughing out loud though.

A beautiful story with even more beautiful art.
Before this one I read "Homeland: My Father Dreams of Palestine" and I found that one to be more accessible for this age group, but both are good reads.
