An unexpected banger!! Hooked right from the beginning. Really imrpessed with how fleshed out all the characters were.

Inhaled this in one sitting! Love the concept of this. I do think that some things might have got lost in translation, but I still enjoyed the strong voice and perspective.

LOVE a road trip story. I loved most things about this except the main characters!!! 32 and acting like

they are 20 and just discovering sex for the first time!!!

So that was a bit annoying, I wanted more focus on literally every other character. I would have loved a full story about Joe and his life???? Like hello???? Way more compelling.

I really liked certain parts of this. Some chapters were stronger than others, but I think this was falsely marketed as a father son adventure, instead it was more of a whole family vacation. The stories that framed the context of Norway in the modern world were very fascinating.
