Lore Olympus: Volume One

LOVED the art, but my lack of knowledge of ancient gods seems to have hindered my enjoyment of this.
informative reflective medium-paced

endlessly fascinating, it did feel very “self help” at times.

Once again, the art carries this series.

Didn't like this one as much as the first. The pacing seemed to be off in this one as well.

Firstly, the art style is absolutely STUNNING, like wow it looked like anime stills. There were some realistic problems depicted which I thought were handled well. What I didn't find believable were the dynamics of some characters.

This book I knew would be made for me, and I wasn't wrong! So much heart and life. The characters felt so real and flawed and beautiful. More older queer characters in fiction please! Albert is like if Ove from "A Man Called Ove" slayed. The only thing I didn't care for was some of the side character backstory, but otherwise a fantastic read.

This has all of my favorite elements in a book. Travel, memoir, humor, history, it has it all! Love this book, excited for whatever the author does next!

Some fantastic rep in this book! I do think that the pacing was a bit clunky, as this kinda of felt like four books in one, I wish it was just one or two perspectives.

partially pick this up because of the title, stopping now because a medical character driven narrative is just is not working for me
hopeful informative inspiring medium-paced

I didn't know anything about Harris Reed before picking this up, as I assumed this was more of a general overview of gender neutral fashion. I did however enjoy hearing his thought process and path forward to where he is now. Pictures were gorgeous too! Just not what I thought the book was going to be.
