Just when I think I'm done with YA, a sweet story like this draws me back in! Wish I had this type of love story growing up, so glad the youth have stories like this!!!

One of my favorite book covers of the year, but that's about all the nice things I have to say! This leaned more into a philosophy and morality exploration, and only brief overviews of the animals themselves. So maybe this was just mismarketed? I'm not sure.

As someone in the ✨industry✨ I found SO much of this informative and relevant. I've never played a Blizzard game, so the history was very interesting.

Didn't realize this was a companion book to the documentary. Also the book just... ends? No conclusion to be found!

Something about the storytelling here didn't resonate with me, it felt like I needed a general overview before reading this.

Fun lil read, thought I'd be more interested but, that's the risk of a niche history book!

I didn't think this book would be as human history focused as it was! Which I guess wasn't necessarily a bad thing. There was a lot of interesting infortmation here but not sure how much it'll stick with me.

I walk away from this one not really knowing how to rate it. I loved the illustrations, the science lessons, and anything that referenced Pacific Northwest life. As for the travel stories themselves, I wasn't too invested. The daily journaling style was I'm sure very vivid for the author, but as a reader it didn't really paint a picture of how harrowing the journey was. Also didn't really care for the personal anecdotes, like did I REALLY have to read about your porn addiction in this travel writing book??? I think probably not.
