I think I preferred this more than the first book as I felt there was more character growth and it wasn't as whiny. It is a typical chick-lit book but every now and then (more so now than then...) I cannot help but devour one - it's a guilty pleasure that I don't have much guilt about. If you like chick-lit you'll enjoy it. That's all you need to know, if it's not your thing don't even bother beginning.

I highly enjoyed this book.

Leandra is such a talented writer. Her recollections kept me entertained & were fun to read. Definitely one to read if you enjoy this style of writing & genre.

This series needs to finish - the sooner the better. The story always follows the same storyline: Becky has a dream - Becky chases dream - Becky lies to husband - Becky acts selfishly - Becky fights with best friend - Becky disappoints husband - Becky defies husband - husband flees - Becky realises her errors - husband magically reappears to fix everything - Becky and best friend are happy again.

I just want to violently shake Becky for being a fully grown adult who acts like a 13 year old girl & slap Sophie for keeping this story rolling in the same format which is now the seventh book. And don't even get me started on the ending or lack thereof. What a joke.

Didn't enjoy this anywhere near as much as Looking for Alaska. I found the character Margo to just be annoying and dramatic.
Loved the other characters though.

this book was okay. the beginning and the end was engaging but i feel it lagged in the middle and i got a little bored. i always know when i really enjoy and like a book based on the amount of time it takes me to finish it. this took longer than most.
