This was a very short collection of poems that had a floral theme. Each flower represented a feeling. The beginning poem Rose was strong but after that I wasn't feeling the others. It could be because those flowers and feelings didn't relate to me. But then at 50% it was powerful statement after powerful statement, and I appreciated the comeback. 

 This one had some SCANDLOUS poems!

The author said she had fun with it and I could tell. If I was a more conservative woman I would have clutched my pearls. I really enjoy the range or self acceptance and love each poem has for the person it represents. 

 Soooo many twists and turns, big reveals, and shocking moments!

I listened to this one on audio. I'm not an audio girlie, I think this may be my 4th audio book this year but it was sooooo good.

This is an entire season of Shonda Rhimes next big hit!

We have a group of rich moms in an exclusive mom's club for millionaires. The group consists of 7 women and right off the bat their HIBC is found dead.

We get to see the various women's POV as they navigate the investigation and place blame on that one that doesn't fit in.

I thought I knew who the killer was, but I was wrong. I hated this ONE woman for a majority of the book then once the reveals started dropping, I felt bad for her. Then there was a chick I liked and ended up wanting to slap the taste out of her mouth.

I love that! I love character growth!

This is a fun one, I highly recommend. 

 I took my time with this. I have always struggled with non-fiction books because it's such an overload of information. I believe pacing yourself and reflecting on the words of wisdom withing these pages is a must.

Ebony did a fantastic job addressing soo many struggles that black and brown women face as children and adults not only from society but within our own community.

So much of what she said was relatable and brought up soo many memories from my life not just with myself but with my mother, my grandmother, my daughters that forced me to take a step back and really study how I felt, reacted, and processed things.

Highly recommend for all non-white, non-male readers

Adult step siblings spending their last holiday together before their parents' divorce.

This was a slow burn taboo romance. There was a miscommunication troupe which was painful for me. Despite it being a slow burn the buildup was exciting and intense and once we got to the heat it was scorching! As always Lee did her thing. 

 OMFG this is literally insane. It follows a young influencer who becomes a target from a group of incels after she makes innocent comments on a TikTok live.
It features fictional conversations that take place on several online platforms. This young woman was doxed and harassed. It's insane how quickly this shit escalates.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND 

 This needed to be longer. The buildup was very exciting and had a lot of potential for a good who done it. But then the author just cut it short and when I got to the ending all I wanted to do was yell
BOOOOOOO I want a redo. She played with my emotions with this one. 

 Each chapter follows a homeowner as their local HOA hosts a progressive dinner party. We get the POV of each woman as she hosts her part of the dinner party. If I liked my neighbors and didn't think some of their homes may smell like cat piss, I feel like this progressive dinner party would be a great idea.

Each person hosted a course, be it cocktail hour, appetizers, entree, desert, and a night cap.

As we move from chapter to chapter one thing is clear. The young "it" couple is the envy of all. They are beautiful, successful, and mysterious.

I knew there had to be a twist and this was one I had not expected.
