Quick, funny, sexy. I really enjoyed this story. Our girl had a very great start to her birthday. Her little friend was a bit too much, but I know women like her and it's all love. Our boy was waiting for her to catch those feelings and it didn't happen lol. With that said, he was all good and everyone overall just had Good Vibes. I liked it.

This is one of the longest short stories/novellas I've ever read. That's not a complaint in any way. I'm simply acknowledging that in comparison to the others in this series this specific story felt like it took FOREVER to read.

Sin & Faith had crushes in high school. We get a few chapters of them in high school and background on where their minds were and the "missed opportunity". Then we get some chapters in the present. We find out what's going on in their lives and we see them both talking about their feelings about attending the high school reunion. THEN we get some chapters of them at said reunion. THEN finally in the LAST 6 pages of the book they hook up.

I don't think the words dick, pussy, or wet were used. I'm not saying I need those words but reading a sex scene that doesn't utilize what I would consider key words was a bit rough. Not even a cock, penis, or vagina. Pretty sure he inserted himself into her sex and then they completed the act twice.

It was everything they both had been waiting for...... And then life goes on.

Ya'll I had to jump ahead. This series consists of standalone short stories that share a theme of not catching feelings. But these two were just sooo yummy I had to find out what was up with them.
From my research I believe that this series was originally only supposed to be 12 books. Like that's literally what it says in the first book author note but it seems after they hit their 12 the demand for MORE was there and the authors responded.

At the end of the first book Chantel tells dude thanks for the good dick and rolls out. I was shookith but I mean that's the theme of the series. It's about the spice not the romance.

I was in love Dax soo much I needed an update and was so glad to get one. It was great, he was great, his mouth is great. I want to have this fictional man's babies.

These two stories were the BEST combined 98 Pages of my month.

YESSSSSSS!!!!!
One thing I love about these short stories series is they serve as intros for authors. They allow you to feel out an author's writing style and decide if you want to commit to a full length book.
Based on these little 50 pages I am SOLD.  Ms. Charity did her thing with this one.  These two had instant chemistry and went for it and it was EVERYTHING.
I looked up the author and saw that she's responsible for the book One Eighty which has been all over my bookish groups and Tik Tok. Believe I tripped over myself adding that book to my TBR.
I really loved Chantel and Dax separately. In the author's note she stated we may see him again. I noticed they have a 2nd book in this series. But since this series focuses on NOT catching feelings, I imagine we could still maybe get him in his own book.  Fingers crossed.

Dante pays his employees starting out $17 an hour $22 if they have experience. I know this because it was mentioned several times.

Even though this is a short story, I feel like it was too long.

I loved the first part with these two. They had an attraction, and hooked up, but it should have just ended there. Instead, there were several pages of filler info. And then they hooked up again, claiming they were just going to be friends with benefits.

But I feel like based on the filler info I don't believe it. And seeing how this series is supposed to be about casual encounters, I just felt like the author did too much.

Spice was good, the characters were likeable, I just don't care about chick going to the club in her work uniform, and Malik's sick mom. Also, I knew the moment she said dude was 23 that this wasn't for me. The fact that our FMC had to go back and forth with her mama about being out all night was cringe for me.

Again, for a short story I felt like the author did too much.

Cari was getting dicked down x3 and I was here for it. This was such a funny, casual, oh shit, story that took hooking up with your brother's best friend to a whole new level.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for those that enjoy group activities!

The slut in me is on the edge of my seat waiting for our girl to get dicked down by this man who is NOT her husband. Shit I want her to get dicked down by both of them.

The wifey in me is being hella judgmental of both Asha and her husband. Like if this muther fucker don't go take a blue pill and handle his business. Also why is she hiding her vibrator? Who does that??

The reviewer in me is rolling their eyes cause Geno's character is super predictable. Also, these ppl can't be this clueless. I can't help but wonder what was up with the condom debate because ya'll are grown be fking responsible. Also, I'd sue that doctor!

Props for the Ending. Overall, this was a suspenseful read. Not my cup of tea. I don't have an issue with reading about infidelity, but chick was just being dumb.

I don't read blurbs. I only picked this up after reading another one of ML's books and discovering she has a gift for writing back breaking spice. I want to be a glow stick in her stories.

This quick, funny, office fling exceeded expectations. I'll take another :)
