When I first the MK series I didn't love her. She grew on me but I didn't love her.. or Archer. However reading this novella may have swayed them both for me. As a couple I hate to admit it but they are adorable. Steele and Kody are still my favorites. I love each of them with her separately and together. Hell I even love their bromance. They are just great.
I really liked this peek into their present. I love Hades and can't stand Seph, it was nice to see that despite being friends with Seph, that MK was also irritated with how in the dark she was and conflicted with not being able to tell her. I will agree that Hades was pig headed in keeping her sister informed but I also get why she wanted to shelter her.
MK's injury in Hades is sooo downplayed vs in the novella. It's almost comical how it all went down. Usually a novella after a series makes me want MORE but since this one takes place along side Hades, I feel pretty content. I hope to see more of Shadow Grove in the upcoming Guild series but if not NOT.

I can't believe this was only 90 pages. It was soo good. A fully formed complete storyline. It was sexy and exciting. There was action and emotion. I'm intrigued, I'm ready to read 5000 more pages on these two characters as well as the Joker's friends.
This author - Dana Isaly has been followed by me on all social media and all her books have been added to my TBR list.
Loved the fact that Joker had plans to be dominate and to completely rock Quin's world; only for her to flip the script and have him begging. It was good.
I highly recommend for a quick read on a rainy day followed by a good horror flick

Not sure how I feel about this one. The plot has promise but everything seems to be dragging and somewhat predictable.
Asher has the worst communication skills and exhibits self destructive behavior.
Breslin gives me whiplash. She is self aware yet continues to victimize herself and makes poor choices.
Landon is the only saving grace for me in this trio. Hes a sexy nerd that has great communication skills and empathy.

This is Hunger Games meets Mean Girls. I don't know why I drug my feet on starting this series Tate always does an amazing job giving us feisty, sarcastic, kick ass strong women. Rybet is so selfless yet hard. I love that there is always some sort of action, comedy, or sexy moment to keep this story moving. I hate dead space.
Hold on to your seats because there are a few plot twists a massive cliff hanger and the introduction of gods walking among us. I love all the different themes in this book! Also those princes are something else. Most RH have either a.) the guys have a pre-existing relationship and are totally cool with sharing with the exception of ONE who eventually comes around OR b.) the guys tell the girl not to worry about their petty jealousy because it's something they will work out without the females interference. Yup always seems a bit easy for the girl right?? So three brothers fighting over a toy in this book his hilarious, yet pulls your heart strings. You want to empathize with every single person. And again with the action. There's betrayal, unexpected alliances, and I really need this to be a movie.
It's official I am committed to this new world. The Seven Kingdoms, Rybet aka Zarina and Sage.
I enjoyed the different reveals and the fact that while the ending was happy it wasn't wrapped in a bow. They aren't ready for their HEA, more is to come and I'm going to devour it.
This series is entertaining, refreshing, and just an over all good read. It's solid. Usually at the end of a RH series I do character breakdowns. But I really don't feel the need. I can say that all three guys are sexy, thoughtful, and protective. None of them irked me or had major flaws.
This was Zarina's story. It covered so much. Identity crisis, broken and new found friendships, romance, politics, and self discovery. I love the personal growth that everyone involved exhibited. I look forward to Sage's story whenever it may come.

I picked up this book on a whim and was instantly drawn in. It's so funny. It reminds me of an episode of Angel. I love underworld series with aren't super serious. This is a quick entertaining read and I look forward to completing this series.
It's starting to lose me. Still funny but I'm getting annoyed. The guys are douchey for most of this book. Our girl is trying too hard. She keeps pouring out her soul and their just like cool, thanks, whatever. Thank glob for ploy twists and my very visual imagination.
I'm sad that I lost interest in this book. The storyline is there, the action and plot twists/reveals are there. But I'm a passionate person and the romantic aspect was giving me whiplash. It made sense towards the end. Sex is on the table but love the all consuming love that our girl wants and deserves is still in a grey area for the guys. Not sure if it's due to fear, lack of communication, stubbornness, or what. I really wish we got more perspective from the guys.
Both Paca and the boys make poor decisions and hurt each other. It's frustrating. The devil however and his children are entertaining. There are so many mysteries/unanswered questions and it's so hard to know who to believe.
I think I lost interest because I'm a sex fiend and the gaps in sex scenes and intimacy were missed by me personally. It was not a flaw in the writing or story.

It was the epilogue for me. As stated after the first book, this series gave me an Angel/Charmed/Buffy CW vibe. Like those series, there are lovable, sexy, brave, sarcastic, fearless characters. Who over time, lose their edge and you start zoning out due to the excessive fight scenes. That is how I felt with the last two books.
However, each fight served a purpose and was necessary to the overall storyline. For me personally it diminished my interest but thats because my personal preference is more smut and less smitting.
My love for Paca varied. She is definitely a Sagittarius, inappropriate, funny, bratty, emotional, horny, attention seeking, brave, selfish, selfless, and loving. The whiplash from the previous book wore off and I empathized with her and admired her sacrifices for her men.
Jude was not my favorite. The irony that he was her favorite when she was invisible ghost girl is not lost.
Kai was my favorite. He went from selfish dick to possessive, protective, and affectionate. I appreciated that.
Gage and Ezekiel were very analytical. I was so happy that we got everyone's POV in this book. They really laid everything out and helped me get a handle on the dynamics.
I liked this series. Despite my own preferences distracting me and slowing down the journey, it was worth taking. I'd recommended and would love for this to be made into a series with a heavy 90s production quality.
