It's slow and hard to keep my attention. But so we're the first few in some of my favorite series so I powered through. Not gonna lie, I skimmed over room descriptions and other not so pressing info.

I was introduced to Fallon and Zach while reading the Ice Knights series. I was drawn to their personalities so much that I had to track down their story. It was interesting seeing their beginning while already knowing their ending. It reaffirmed why they are so great together.

Sooo I read the first 2 books in this series YEARS ago. When I realized there were 2 more books, I was super excited to jump back in. Sadly I was instantly reminded by how freaking annoying and stupid Leila is.

Not saying she isn't a tough cookie, just that her continued poor decision making and choices contribute to her being in deeper than necessary.

The saving grace of this series is Vlad. His interactions with others. The good the bad the questionable. The bromance moments definitely caused a tingle in my heart.

It was a good read. Not the best because of her but I have no regrets and will be reading the next book in the series for sure.

Shelby is officially my favorite person. She's incredibly relatable and raw. The entire time reading this all I could picture was a young dark haired Jennifer Tilly. I really appreciated that Shelby had her own circle and wasn't connected to the other characters.

Love the Bromance between Alex and Ian. I have enjoyed them all throughout the Ice Knight series. Up until this book I had no idea Ian carried so much baggage. I mean there was a small slip in the first book of the series but it passed quickly and my focus was on Caleb not him.

There were moments in this book where I thought I knew how the characters were going to react but then did the complete opposite. I am sad that this is the last book in the series. I feel like we deserve at least two more. Or a new series with a 5 year jump. Just saying...
