The second book in the Ice Knights series was suggested to me. And while it could be read as a stand I'm a series kind of girl. So I had to start with this NUMBER ONE.
I have since learned and suggest that you read the Hartigan series BEFORE this one as it gives you more insight on the team, supporting characters, and a single Caleb.
Personally I liked this story. I could totally imagine this PR stunt. I love this couple together. They just had a very natural attraction. My imagination was hoping there was MORE going on with some of the side characters but nothing seemed to come from it.
Love the dog. He's the best part of the story. This was a great intro to the series. Highly recommend.

Not my favorite couple but definitely an important story in the series. Really liked the mystery and background of Sherry's childhood. Was super geeked when there was a Cedar Point shout out because of my pe4rsonal connection to the park. Wish it had been mentioned under different circumstances but still appreciated the mention.
Sooo many enforcer cameos. It was exciting to see what everyone was up to and lot's of set up for the next story.

Not a fan. It started strong then fizzled. I am sad.
Had to update my review now that I'm at a desktop with a keyboard. This story sucked balls. It had promise it really did. But it was just BAD.
Who knew a person could drop all prejudice and fall in love within 12 hours??? Also I LOVE me some hellhounds. They were not given their due. Just sayin..

My girl Cameo deserves a happy ending. Lazarus is perfect for her. We all know that they end up together in the end, but the ride was bumpy, and a lot of truth's came out that had me making faces.
Lazarus's background is incredibly fascinating. Love his interactions with the other characters. Absolutely HATED the nickname Cameo gave him though. At one point, no for 3/4 of the book I liked him more than Cam but it's okay that happens sometimes.
The twins, OMG I want to to grow up yesterday so we can see their stories. Doesn't even have to be a love story. They are young. Just give me an entire book about them in general.
The ending left me with a lot of questions. Which I'm sure Gina will answer in due time.

Super dupper freaking excited to have a brown girl as a love interest. I appreciate and value the fact that Gena has created a diverse world with many different characters and that the women in it are all uniquely beautiful. In my mind, Katarina looked like this actress Scarlit Scandal... ( I don't suggest looking her up on a work computer or near small children). She and Baden can totally have adorable mixed babies that look like Erin Kellyman (She's safe to look up).
There is just so much in this book that I loved. Bromance, Family, Friendship. I know that's in all the Lord's books but this was was extra special to me.
Great read and much needed piece of this ongoing storyline of bad vs badder. I am excited to see all the players for the final End Game.

I started this series back in 2014/2015 then took a big ass break. So there are characters that I don't really remember and others that refused to be forgotten.
I will remember Basha Argeneau for the rest of my life. I will NEVER forget her. We are bonded. She is the most amazing person. Her background, her present, her everything is just admirable and she deserves nothing but love, acceptance, and all of the things.
I love her and I hope everyone who has ever wronged her pays.
I'm not going to act like Basha and Marcus are my favorite couple cause they aren't. But they are a good fit and he is lucky to have Basha as a life mate. If you aren't sure if you want to read this book cause it's just another vampire love story, I can assure that it's not.
If you love bad ass bitches who overcome adversity then this a read you don't want to miss. I promise it will be divine.

What I liked about Audrey is that she's not basic. She is the type person that you would meet at a party and instantly feel comfortable around. I enjoyed her story with James BUT I had a few issues with the ending.
I am not a fan of enabling toxic people. I feel like we should cut them out of our lives. YES it's that easy I don't care if it's your mom Karen. If that chick is not contributing to your happiness and growth then get them scissors and snip snip bishhh.
Anyways it's a good story, fun beginning to this series. I binge read it and then bought all the books and pre-ordered one that's not even out yet. There are some Pretty Woman vibes. Like you totally aren't judging dude for buying his date.

The problem with reading this is that I'm a series fanatic. When I start something I must finish it. Even if I'm not a fan. There is currently 10 books in this series and I am already neck high with other series so I had no business reading this.
But I did. And my curiosity was peeked so now I'm reading them all.
This was a good read and great series intro. I wasn't too impressed by Sara but I also wasn't turned off by her. So that's a plus.

Was not a fan of this match up. Nicole was dumb af and Jake was doing too much. If not for the supporting "cast" and the fact that this is part of the Argenau story line I would not recommend.
High points: Plot twists, twins, family bonding and shit,
Low points: Assumptions constantly being made by Jake and Nicole.

This was by far my favorite in this series. The author could have gone a few different ways with this storyline but she totally made it work. It's funny and probably has already happened in Hollywood I'm sure I just need to do some Google detective work to find the lucky couple.
I'm pretty sure a young Ryan Renyolds would have been perfect Kyle in made for TV movie adaptation...
I wasn't a fan of the name Lowell. It's just weird and doesn't roll ff my tongue or flow right in my brain. It's a weird choice. Also wasn't sure why Leigh kept trying to flex the fact that Lo was from Texas. There was so little to back it up. No hate, it just seemed unnecessary.
However I really liked that there was no forgiveness or kumbaya with toxic people which was becoming an annoying pattern in the previous books. (I didn't read these in order)
This was my favorite out of the entire series.
