I absoltutely loved this book. There was not a moment where I was not laughing. Christina was definately sassy and kind. I liked that she didn't over analyze things and King Alexander was a breath of fresh air. This was a comical light hearted quick read. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.

Micah, Micah, Micah, oh how I love thee. I was very excited that this book took us to Micah's hometown and finally gave us a more in depth look at his family and history. It also allowed us to see how much Nathanial means to him. Ever since the kiss after Nathanial's dance performance and a few strategically placed comments we knew that their relationship had grown but not how much or how close they really were. So I'm happy to see their relationship growth. I like the police work in this book as well as the banter between Edward and Anita. It's crazy how much all of the chacters have grown and are no longer so lonely and toxic. Happiness is within everyone's reach.

Candece, Shiro, and Adrienne are beyond entertaining they are relatable and a joy to read. This book was very unexpected for me. Mary Janice Davidson has always written funny books about wacky characters but the detail in her police work and crime scene analysis was interesting. I immediatley figured out the bad guy and thought that MJD did a poor job being secretive until I got to the end. I look foward to reading more about these ladies and their co-workers as well as the developing love life.

This book was very different from all the other Gena Showalter books I've ever read. I'm sured to HOT Immortal or Angel or Alien men with Sassy females kicking ass and sexing it up. But this book is far from any of that. Most of Gena's characters have flashbacks of losses but Alices is present. Her pain is in your face. The guilt the mourning process was present and I was able to empathize with her. I didn't realize this was a YA book and was thrown off by her age and was getting a Twilight/Buffy/Degrassi feel from the student atmosphere HOWEVER that last 10 minutes and I was all about Cole! The power and leadership role he holds is somewhate unbelievable but I like him anyway. I also liked the unique take on Zombies and can say I've personally NEVER seen/read/heard of them in the way she wrote them. I read this entire book in one night and am looking forward to the next one. I fear I will be a 30 year old woman camping outside a movie theatre and shamefully lusting after the teen star playing Cole. Hopefully they will have Jennifer Lawerence play Alice!

Becky Bloomwood this is NOT but laugh out loud funny it is. This book switches POV between Lottie (Charlotte) a book smart but not so common sense having woman dealing with a breakup and making poor decisions and her sister Fliss (Felicity) a mother hen going through a divorce and trying to protect her sister from a similar fate. So let's recap. Lottie thinks Richard is going to propose and he doesn't she gets upset and breaks up with him on the spot. (Totally understandable I cried my eyes out when I thought my then boyfriend was going to propose at Christmas and instead received what I have dubbed the octopus ring and a lame "sorry it's not an engagement ring") So I feel Lottie responded as 89% of the female population would. Exit Richard enter Ben. Ben is an old flame who claims he has loved her for 15 years and proposes on the spot over drinks. Lottie accepts with the stipulation of NO sex until the wedding night. (Good for her Why give the milk away for free? j/k) Fliss freaks and tries her best to derail this horrible rebound decision only to be side tracked by Ben's sexy best man and her own emotions from her divorce proceedings. Unable to STOP the actual marriage from happening Fliss decides to prevent/delay the cosummation until Lottie realizes her mistake so that she can walk away with a quick and easy annulment rather then a pricey divorce and possibly a bun in the oven. From there it's a bunch of sexual tension, hijixs and hilarity. Sophie Kinsella does not disapoint. HOWEVER I think mentions of Hollywood were strategically placed to remind us that Becky Brandon ne' Bloomwood should have another book in the works!!! Yay crazy women who love shoes and Starbucks!

Historical romances are a dirty little secret of mine. I may only read one or two a year so it's important that I am not disapointed. Thank Goodness this book was Amazeballs!!! I could not stop laughing my butt off. In a nutshell Poor Emma must peition the king because her husband has not cosummated the marriage and she wants to have a child. Since she's a cutie no one can understand why her hubby gave her the cold shoulder. Shortly after her visit, her husband dies but now her secret is out! Her husband's family wants the castle, land, and riches and will stop at nothing to get it. The King having been fond of Emma intercepes their claim and does a orders a quickie wedding and consummation that is all the buzz on the estate. This was a fun quick read that lives you dropping medival words for the rest of the day.

Layel and Delilah are my favorite Atlantis couple next to Grey and Jewel. Layel peeked my interest in the first book. I feel like he has the saddest most empathetic backstory out of all of the men. He switches back and fourth from strong manly vampire to an insecure teen having panic attacks. I liked the survivor like challenge played by the Gods. I'm not sure why there were so many negative reviews on this. It's not top notch like the LOTUW but it was entertianing, exciting, and enjoyable. I would like to know MORE about this couple. Novella anyone??

I hope that Gena did not try to sell this. I'm not gonna lie I was disapointed with this story. I really liked Zane and Nola in the previous book and wanted to know MORE about their past and see more of a build up to their reunion. There was no explaination of Nola accepting her feelings for Zane. It just said four months have pasts and now she loves him. WTF! How did someone so damaged learn to let go of the pain from her past and fall in love with a man she hasn't even interacted with?? Also how is this the LAST of the Atlantis series?! The series it's self is mild but entertaining. She left so many holes. What did Grace and Darius name their baby? Is it a full dragon or a halfing?? Are Layel and Darius on good terms? I know he no longer wants to fight with the Dragons but are they willing to let bygones be bygones?? What is Delilah's baby a boy or girl??. Are we suppose to believe the Amazons just rolled out after defeat?! I'm not happy with this being the final chapter of Atlantis. I'm happy Gena moved on to the Lords and Angels but still as a series reader I need better closure.

My issue with this book is the writing. I LOVE the tv show dexter and this book followed the show fairly close. However I kept getting bored. It was like reading a medical text book being read my Micheal C Hall. With that said I will stick with the silver screen when I want my serial killer fix.

Too Short! I had completely forgotten about the triplets so it was nice to revisit them. But I need MORE Broken Heart. That's the only think I can remember between July and now. The only emotion I was left with after reading this short was I want MORE
