A modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet except with a society of Magi (magic users) and Technocrats. This story was an interesting story and the protagonist Aissa is quite likable and the love interest Aro was very sweet. I liked the story but I felt that some parts were dragged on and at times certain decisions made by the character frustrated me. However, this was an overall good story and I liked the society and world building within it. It ends with a bit of an open ending and I’ll be happy to read the sequel (if there is one) to see where the story goes!
Sadly this book just did not work for me. This is a retelling of Robin Hood except it features his daughter, Isabelle as our protagonists. I found myself irritated and just not connecting to Isabelle. The characters and story were bit lackluster. The only really interesting thing for me was the backstory of Robin and Marion. The pacing of the story is okay but the ending was not something I particularly cared for. Overall this was an okay book, but it just did not work for me.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! This book was fantastic! Its everything I could ask for! Magic, romance, and a kick ass protagonists? Yes please. I loved the pacing and the characters of the story. Jenny is smart, strong, and brave. She definitely reminded me of Arya from Game of Thrones. Enzo was also a great love interest, he was kind and compassionate and darw I say, a real knight of a guy haha. The story was great and I loved every moment of this book. I can’t wait to read the sequel!!! I am dying for it!

A cute story featuring an equally unique lemon. I really liked the art design and story. It was really interesting!
A new adult fiction about a young woman dealing with anxiety, loss of confidence, and existential angst. I was at odds with this book because I was frustrated with Lona yet I could completely relate to her. The writing is great and the flow of emotions is so relatable. Lona is struggling to find herself and struggling with her art, all the while trying to juggle navigating relationships and family issues.
