The artwork was absolutely beautiful and the story was so charming. It made me want to go out and garden and maybe run into my own garden sprite. A politician with a dark past and a part organizer with her own secrets, one night that changed everything, and the consequences of it when they both run into each other again. Lincoln is a politician with a deep dark secret, trying to get over the girl who broke his heart and keep his political career. One day he attends an event organized by Lily, a gorgeous party organizer and one thing leads to another and she’s gone after their one night stand. Three years later, and neither of them can forget the other, and suddenly they run into each other at the airport and now their lives are entangled in more than one way. Lily has a secret she’s been keeping from Lincoln but is afraid of the consequences once he finds out. Lincoln’s past mistake comes back and threatens to tear apart his new relationship and life. Both of them are struggling to be honest with the other and have so many secrets, can this relationship really work? The story was an interesting one overall and the relationship was nice between the characters. The povs switching was a great touch and getting to know both the characters was fun. This is a quick and easy romance read,

A Sunfire Queen trying to repair the damage of her mother’s deranged rule and a beastkyn Mikhail on the haunt for the same woman who had imprisoned him are both brought together in search of the monsters that entwine them. Sierra is now the queen of the sunfire court and is trying to repair all the damages done by her mother, including trying to endure the abuse and pain her mother had done to her. Mikhail is banished and is looking for the woman who did this to him in order to exact revenge but when Sierra appears before him and breaking the banishment, he suddenly finds that maybe theres more than just revenge for him. Throw in some mischievous kings and queens, crazy relatives, and lots of murder plots, and well a bit of an angsty romance and heres what you got. The story was a fun one to read and getting read from both perspectives was a nice touch. Overall an interesting fantasy romance book, you can read the book as a standalone or part of the series, I read it as a standalone and didn’t find it hard to catch up to the story at all.

Karma Moon is going ghost hunting! Karma Moon and her dad are given the opportunity to create a ghost-hunting docu-series for Netflix, one they can’t refuse. So along with her dad’s film crew and her best friend Mags, Karma is off to a famous haunted house in Colorado on the hunt for a ghost! Things get off to a strange start and Karma finds herself wondering what is happening at this haunted house! Throw in some fortune telling, a magic 8 ball, and a cute boy who wants to be an illusionist, and what we have is a fun ghost hunting story. Karma moon definitely has anxiety, where she finds herself constantly asking “what ifs” and worrying and panicking to the point where she can’t breathe. She’s dealing with her parents divorce and if her dad’s company cant capture a ghost, they might not get the series and they might not be able to make rent. Karma is dealing with a lot of heavy issues on top of her anxiety, but she is constantly trying her best and working on fun investigative work. The story was a fun read and I would definitely recommend it!

A girl stuck between first love and her traditions, trying to find who she is and who she will be in the future. A gripping story about the boundaries of love, from our friends, from first love, from family, and the complications of a cross-cultural relationship. The story follows Rani Kelkar, an artist who has always been on course to follow her parents path, until she meets another fellow artist. Oliver is an artist, with tattoos and piercings, and a difficult life. Oliver and Rani fall for each other instantly, and fast. Their relationship starts off great, but all the red flags start showing up, from micro-aggressions, gas-lighting, clinginess, blame, and even making Rani question where she stands. Their relationship spirals and watching it go further and further down was a difficult read but you feel so much for Rani and you understand her difficult decisions. I absolutely loved reading this book and was rooting for Rani through her entire journey. As someone who has experienced many of the things Rani did in this book, I really appreciated the realistic depiction of how toxic relationships can be, and how there can be relationships in which your own culture is appropriated. This is an excellent read that I would highly HIGHLY recommend this book. It deals with finding your identity in your culture, setting boundaries, looking for the right signs in relationships, family and culture, and finding what makes you happy in the end and embracing it and letting go of the things that hurt you,
