A wonderful look into cocktails from The Gilded Age. The book is filled with recipes and drawings of drinks from different bartenders and people. A great look into a variety of drinks that I can’t wait to try and make myself. Learning about popular drinks from a different age was a fun experience and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about cocktails!

A chance to be in Broadway play, but suddenly things are not going as well as they seem, but can the show go on? The story follows Mandy as she is given the chance to be an understudy for a play in Broadway, but once she’s arrived she discovers she’s gotten a lead role and that actors have been having accidents and disappearing. Now its up to Mandy and her costars to find out whats happening and if the theater is actually cursed? The story is fun and a really cute adventure. It was easy to read and a great middle grade read and perfect for anyone interested in mysteries or the theater!

A wonderful collection of William Shakespeare inspired anthologies with a modern spin! I had a blast reading these and by far one of my favorites was.... Hamlet but with girls and vampires! Such a diverse and unique spin on the Shakespeare classics. I absolutely adore Shakespeare and this was a great take on the classics. Each story is unique and some of them have author notes explaining why the author took a particular take which is such a nice touch! Seriously go read this if you enjoy Shakespeare, fun fairy tales, romance, and just are looking for an entertaining read.

Can Brynn and her friends pull off the ultimate con and get out with their lives? In this thrilling conclusion to the Vale High series, Brynn and her friends are tested to the limit as lives are at stake and they all have to come together to con the ultimate man and beat him at his own game, the man who brought them all there together and holds all their lives in his hands, Dr. Odin. The book is a constant thrill ride of cat and mouse games and attempts to take down Dr. Odin all while maintaining their covers. Friendships, romances, and trusts are all tested, but with a few surprising turns people can surprise you. I had such a blast reading about Brynn and her friends, I loved all of them, even Geri who grew on me. The story was a great conclusion to this amazing trilogy. I can say happily that this is a must read for anyone who enjoys action, cons, and life staking stories that have friendship and romance in them. Brynn has been a character I’ve liked since the first book and seeing her grow into someone who is accepting love and building relationships and having a family of her own was a wonderful experience.

Magic, heists, and mischief all come together in the conclusion to the tril.ogy by Cate Glass. In this book it leads with another heists job for our Chimera team, in which theres more at stake and they’ll have to be extra careful in their use of magic as there is a nefarious element invading their dreams. Romy and crew are given the job of stopping an arranged marriage, all the while a more dangerous plot is at play. The ending is left open ended and could mean more for this series if the author choses, but it does wrap up another heists well. Overall, an okay ending to the series, I just found myself less enthralled and hooked as I was with the first book. That is not to say that this is a bad series, this is definitely a fun read with magic and heists.
An inspiring and interesting collection of graffiti artwork! A great look into various art pieces done from different artists. As someone who grew up in Los Angeles, this was a great look into street art.

A delightful book filled with recipes, essays, and stories from Kate Lebo. This was such an interesting read and I definitely enjoyed reading it. It had nice recipes and drawings, while also being a collection of essays from her. In her essays she discusses her family, her own disability, and her depression. She also explores so much more, seriously this was a great read and I definitely would recommend it!
