Cursed to see how every relationship she’s in ends, Quinn has been avoiding relationships but one day she runs into a handsome guy at a museum, and you know what they say about fate, sometimes it’s just meant to be. Sadly for her, she gets a vision of him dying in her arms saying he loves her... whats a girl to do? Quinn is instantly drawn to Griffin, a guitar playing guy who’s running away from his past and recently moved into her neighborhood and they just keep running into each other, no matter how much Quinn is trying to avoid making his fate come true. Quinn has resolved to save him but mysterious events keep occurring to the point where she doesn’t know if the killer is after her, or Griffin. I thought the story was fine and the premise was really interesting. I was just expecting a bit more to happen and I kind of already figured out the mystery early on so I wasn’t exactly surprised by how things went. Overall, this was a fast read and I think a lot of people can have with this romance mystery. I was hoping for a bit more magic and a bit more exploration of Quinn’s curse but oh well.

The second book in the series, now focusing on Keena Oliver, a healer, and Rhyker Kingsley, a jaguar shifter. The story follows them as they tow the line between friendship and something more, all the while also having multiple plots going on and switching to various other member’s POVS. This book has a LOT of POVS and would definitely be better if you read the first book in order to get a better grasp of the second one. The main story involves Keena and Rhyker getting together, and both dealing with their toxic and abusive exes. It’s a fun story to read and since I’ve read the first book it was nice to revisit a lot of the characters from the first book and their continuing journey. I am 100% on board for Nico and Aliena, and can’t wait to read their story. I had a lot of fun reading this book and it was interesting to see where the story lines were going. It’s a fun series to read and if you like paranormal romance with a splash of action and mystery this would be right up your alley!

What happens when the flat across from you gives you a view of a very attractive guy, who for some reason has started leaving you messages on his window? This fun rom com follows Mia a computer programmer with green streaks in her hair, running away from her persistent ex, and newly moved into Manchester for a new start, and a very attractive bar owner named Luke, who is known for sleeping around a lot and not looking to settle down in any relationship, that is until a green haired lady walks into his bar and now he just can’t get her out of his band. Mia is not looking to start any relationship after all the bad one’s she’s been in and Luke seems determined to win her over. Is there more to this bar owner than his good lucks and charm? Luke is going to try everything to win Mia over, even if she only wants to be friends. Thus begins a sweet love story between two people falling in love and overcoming both of their own insecurities and pasts. The story is told in both POVs, which is great! i had fun reading this and getting know Mia and Luke. They definitely make a sweet and adorable pairing!

Greek mythology set in modern day New York, a dangerous game of cat and mouse, and one girl waring between survival and vengeance. This book WAS AMAZING! When I first heard about it I knew I had to read it and oh boy did this not disappoint! It met my expectations and went far above. It was a bloody good time! The story is set in a world where Gods and Goddesses are hunted by their line, as by killing a god you receive their power. These “hunts” occur every seven years and Lore, who’s entire family was killed, has managed to disappear from the hunt until now. With the fresh arrival of her childhood friend whom she presumed had died, a dying goddess coming to her with an offer to help her achieve vengeance against her family’s murderer, Lore is thrown right back into the world she left behind. This book is gritty and brutal and I loved every second of it. Lore is a wonderful protagonist, she takes no shit and isn’t afraid to get rough and bleed for what she wants. She was strong and yet had a heart full of grief for the wrongs not only she suffered, but what had been done to her family. I adored Castor, Miles, Van, and even Iro, and oh boy don’t get me started on Athena and Hermes. This book has a strong theme of family, the lengths we go for them and to return to them, and in the end, what it means to stay strong in a world that keeps trying to push you. Lore was a kick ass protagonists who I fell in love with, and her story, this story, was a wonderful read. I couldn’t put the book done and I honestly need more books set in this world ( crossing my fingers). So yes, please go read this freaking amazing book and fall in love with the legend that is Lore.

A gorgeous collection of poems that have an almost nature element and feel to them. I had a great time immersing myself in this collection and would definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys poetry. The sense of emotion and poetry of words, is just beautiful.
A wonderful and easy cookbook for a beginner chef! Includes salads, desserts, parfaits, sandwiches, and so much more! Also has helpful technique instructions and even how to grow vegetables and plants. An all around great cook book for beginners, or anyone who just doesn’t want to do too much cooking work,
