A mountaineer and the Hollywood starlet he’s guiding on a mountain as she’s trying to film a project shes making...what could go wrong? River Lane has turned to filming as her acting career has tanked, and her only project is making a tourist documentary about the small town of Moose Springs, Alaska, the only hitch? Everyone in town is avoiding her and refusing to be filmed. The only person she has any decent interaction with is the mountaineer that tried to give her road side assistance.....which she fought with. Easton Lockett loves climbing mountains and loves his small town of Moose Springs, suddenly he has a run in with feisty and slightly unhinged River. Suddenly he finds that he can’t not help her and finds himself her guide along the mountains. Reading this felt like I was watching a Hallmark Movie. It’s the third book in the series and I didn’t read any of the previous book but didn’t find that it impacted my reading. The start was interesting, the middle lost me a little bit, but the ending wrapped up nicely. This is a fun romance read and if you like Hallmark Movies this definitely fits the bill.

Book a vacation at a lovely inn.... what could possibly go wrong? Paige is workaholic and with Valentine’s day coming up, has decided to celebrate SAD- or rather, Singles Appreciation Day. She stumbles upon a listing of a very relaxing and cozy inn and decides, to book a vacation! Inn owner and widower, Lucas has closed his inn and is trying to deal with raising his daughter and barely staying above financially. When his sister relists his inn as available and someone actually takes up the offer he is more than a little put off, and so begins our story. This story definitely reminded me of the movie Leap Year (with Matthew Goode and Amy Addams) except rather than the female lead going off to propose to her fiancee, Paige is trying to get over her ex-fiancee, the story includes a cute but grumpy inn-keeper, a tragic past relationship, being forced to stay in a place due to bad weather/no transportation, and helping a business come back into business and of course two people who start off on the wrong foot falling in love with each other. HOWEVER, the big difference here, is that I just could not connect to Lucas as a romance interest... hear me out. Lucas has a dying inn business and a four year old daughter, he knows that he barely has enough to last the next three months, BUT when he gets a customer (Paige) he immediately is... well... an ass. I completely understand that he is dealing with grief and is stressed, but he was just given a payday that would help him manage to stay afloat and he immediately tosses her out the door, sir do you not want to be financially stable and be in business?? I loved Paige, she was tough, caring, and was an overall really nice person. She was considerate and I would have her same reaction if I paid 3x the price for a vacation and when I get there, it looks like a dump and not what I believed I was told or advertised, and the moment I step into the place I am met with a rude person who essentially tells me to gtfo. SOOOOOO, you can see why I had to knock off some points. I loved Paige but Lucas was just not for me. I adored his daughter Maddie and the overall story was sweet and a fun read. So, yes do get check this out if you’re looking for a fun romance read with a grumpy guy and a sweet workaholic.

A sweet and hilarious book! Filled with underwater creature shenanigans and friendship, This was so cute and a perfect read! Great for kids and adults, for anyone who just wants to laugh and smile! The artwork was adorable and I loved reading this book so much!
A funny, quirky, and charming story! I had so much fun reading this! This was a modern day Alice in Wonderland ( and I absolutely love Alice in Wonderland) so its no surprised that I had a blast reading this! The story follows George ( an imaginary friend of Jack) who has been left behind, and he's hoping to find George. This story was heartfelt and really a great read for not only middle grade readers but also for adults.
A wonderful story filled with beautiful artwork based on a real house! I loved the artwork and the sweet story of a little girl and her imaginary salamander friend. Carmen’s family has announced they are moving to a new home but Carmen is less excited about moving leaving her salamander behind. A truly fun read with beautiful artwork!
A very sweet story about a bird who runs away from home and discovers the outside world. I loved reading about Barnaby’s journey! The artwork for this book was very pretty and the adventure was a fun read. I definitely think this would make a great read for kids!

A funny and sweet story about a mischievous boy who makes a lot of mistakes. Told through his (hilarious) apology letters, the story follows Timothy and all the shenanigans he seems to find himself in. Its a great read for kids and it teaches a sweet lesson that we all make mistakes but it doesn’t mean our family will stop loving us.
A heartfelt story about a young bunny and the developers who have built around her home. Lily’s family will not sell their home but everyone else in their neighborhood has sold their home, and soon Lily’s house is the only one left. With the construction taking over her neighborhood Lily is left to deal with the new changes. This was a beautiful story about learning to adapt and being okay with the changes that are going on around you. Its a great read for kids!
A sweet and fun story about a boy named Robert and his dad. They have the day off and decide to bake a cake! Before they know it invitations are out and theres cake to go around. The artwork for this book was absolutely charming and I found the book to be so cute. I definitely would recommend this book (and hey maybe it’ll make you want to bake a cake too, it sure made me want to!)
A sweet and adorable story about a very talkative chick. Baby chick has a lot to say but no one seems to listen to her. One day on her adventure she finds a mysterious egg... what could it be? This is a sweet story and I think its a great read for kids!
