A delightful and quirky book! Filled with adorable drawings and such creative combinations of vegetables and animals! I'd have to say my favorites were "tomotoad" and " crocolli". The book was very adorable and I definitely would recommend it to kids! They'll have a lot of fun with these creations and artwork!
A magical story mixed into the real struggles of a girl struggling to accept herself, her history, and the struggles of a finding out a beloved family member is experiencing Alzheimer’s. Leah is a new girl at school, and she is the ONLY Jewish girl there. Leaf finds that she can’t seem to fit in and feels that no one wants to be her friend because she is different. Leah absolutely hates her nose, a distinct feature in her family. But the one thing that gets her through all her struggles, is always visiting her great grandpa Zaide, but he’s been acting strange lately and suddenly Leah over hears her parents want to send him to an assisted living facility. Leah refuses to let her great-grandpa be sent there so when she learns about building a golem, a creature from Jewish mythology made out of clay, she thinks this is the perfect solution to help take care of her great-grandpa and stop him from being sent away. Things get out of hand real fast once the golem arrives and Leah has to begin to not only accept her situation, but also that she should be proud of herself and that she doesn’t need to change herself to fit in, just love herself. This was a beautiful story that dealt with very real struggles of being different, of learning to love your features and your history, of trying to fit in, of dealing with racism, and of the struggles and sadness that comes with someone you know having Alzheimers and how you can just be there for them. Truly a beautiful and heartwarming story filled with magic and mischief. This is an excellent read that I would definitely recommend for anyone of all ages!
After binging Anne with an E (on netflix) and re-reading Anne of Green Gables, this was the absolute perfect read! I adored the art work in the book and can’t wait to read the rest of the series! This is a perfect read for anyone who is a fan of Anne of Green Gables or any kids who want to start with a easy introduction into the fun and classic story! A delightful read with gorgeous artwork that captures the autumnal tone and adventures of Anne Shirley!

A very important message about "your body and heart are yours, and how you choose to share it is up to you." I think this is an extremely important message for kids growing up. It's important to understand that your body is your own decision and that the ways you choose to share or express your affections is up to you. The story is very cute and easy to understand, which makes it a great read for kids!
A very sweet and charming book about being introverted and the joys of it. I absolutely adored this book and found myself relating to it very much. It’s a perfect read for anyone who is an introvert! The artwork was cute and the book itself had a lot of fun moments and very relatable statements!
A delightful and interesting retelling of a story! The artwork is absolutely stunning and the story is very interesting. I found the retelling with it’s alternative ending to be a nice read for kids! I would definitely recommend it! It deals with friendship, forgiveness, and how misunderstandings and unresolved arguments can be destructive to friendships.

Why She Wrote: A Graphic History of the Lives, Inspiration, and Influence Behind the Pens of Classic Women Writers
Lauren Burke, Hannah K. Chapman
A enlightening and wonderful look into female authors throughout history. I loved that it told the stories of these women and even added the element of graphic novel to make it even more visually fun. The book tells these womens' stories, their lives, how they came about writing and why, and a list of their works. A delightful read perfect for anyone interested in famous female authors!
A swoon worthy, heart warming, and beautiful romance! The story follows Lady Clara Ashford and Quincy Nesbitt (newly titled Duke). Clara has no intention of getting married and has a devastating secret while Quincy has just been titled Duke when all he wants to do is travel the world and can’t wait to get away from his family. Quincy ran away from his family at a young age after his father died, attempting to get away from the pain his family caused him but he’s returned to visit his friend Peter, Clara’s cousin. Clara and Quincy find themselves in an unexpected predicament...... a fake engagement, to throw off Clara’s matchmaking attempts and leave Clara in peace, and to help Quincy fend off his mother’s attempts to trap him. The biggest issue? They just can’t seem to keep their hands off each other. I absolutely loved reading their story and finding more about them, Quincy and Clara both hold a lot of depth and pain, and have such a capacity for love and care. I adored getting to know them and their heart warming love story. I laughed, I cried, and I absolutely fell in love with both Quincy and Clara! This is such a great romance read, and I whole-heartedly recommend this for anyone looking for a romance that will touch your heart and maybe shed a tear or two!
