Perfect for lovers of Rebecca Ross, especially her Elements of Cadence duology.

A short and sweet tale of a young, Welsh girl exposed to outsiders visiting her island. I loved the commentary on city folk visiting an island community to learn more about it only to misinterpret, judge, and steal. It rings true in all different parts of the world.

my first agatha christie!

i loved this. the vibes were immaculate. i don’t know if i will ever give a thriller 5 stars but agatha christie would probably be the author to change that.

This was so hard to rate. While I think the story could potentially get 5 stars if I went back and read this again knowing what I know from the ending, the first time around didn’t really do it for me.

The prose is what saves it. Bradley is a great writer and I did really enjoy the characters. But I was hoping for a time travel story that knocked me off my feet and it fell short.

as a lowkey lucy foley thriller hater, i actually did enjoy this!

the imagery was great and i thought the ending was tied together nicely with some great twists.

A memoir written and read with passion is intoxicating. Even if you can’t relate to a lot of what McConaughey is writing about. It’s no wonder this has been everywhere. I highly recommend listening to him read it. He gives the charm he’s known for.

took me a little while to get into this. i listened to stanley read it which i try to do with memoirs. he is such a snob but i do think it’s warranted.

this could have also been called “the terrible flights i had in one year” or “the insanely cool celebrity dinner guests i had over in one year”. overall, it was kind of simple and a tab boring but man did it make me hungry.

After being a huge John Green fan during my youth, I can’t believe it took the movie coming out to read this. It’s a perfect adaptation.

My review of the movie was that it is as delightful as it is hard to watch and that rings true for the book which is classic John.

I am on a very strong Green brothers kick right now. I am consuming all of their media new and old and am having a great time.

Another Hazelwood classic! She put all of her favorite references in here which I loved. They felt like easter eggs.

This is my least favorite out of the three adult fiction romances even though I loved the academic background. This is maybe the hottest of the three however.

I will never be forced to read her work, she is the ultimate guilty pleasure.
