Danny and Luke's bromance is forever.

I actually liked this book way more than the first; Paks really shows growth as a character and this continues right on into the third, where she really comes into her own. I was pulled immediately into the story, so much so that I stayed up all night to finish it (and me having to work at 5 a.m.!)

That ended with quite the whimper.

Definitely my favorite yet. I had a good idea that

Diana's father was the one behind it from the last book, but I didn't quite trust my guess because I'm usually terrible at these things! However, once they brought her in on this book and started talking about his constant phone calls, I just knew it. Maybe I'm getting smarter. ;)

Then again, I thought Andrea was actually the woman Hollis got her eyes from.

I like the idea of the romance between Hollis and Reese, I am just not exactly 100% on the way it was introduced. There are only small gestures to really imply that they were both connected, but then Reese went all-in at the hospital and that was a bit strange. They barely knew each other as co-people (to quote the famous philosopher Ron Burgundy).
