Interesting Short stories, many to which one can relate to!!

I didnt get the title. The whole book is about cultural differences, cross cultural influences, and their conflicting thoughts and views. Born to Indian (bengali) parents in USA, the Protagonist Gogol has a daknaam and bhalonaam. Gogol being his daknaam gets printed in his birth certificate when his bhalonaam is Nikhil..This part I enjoyed...but the name doesnt bother the story much??!!

VERY interesting short stories, none of whose endings were predictable

Awakening had a sad ending. Couldn't imagine a lady full of life ending her life. The short stories are too good. Kate Chopin has captured so many emotions of women, especially the story Silk stockings, where the lady is elated having purchased a silk stockings for herself. I found that very sweet!!
