AYE! This was such a DIFFERENT and GOOD book. I have filled it with tags and ready for a reread soon. The topic is something you are familiar but so unaware about. It's put in such a good structured way. You tend to start noticing things while reading this book like this even though there is so much cultural difference. I think I just needed to read a good non fiction book for a long time and this was it.
Honestly, you can pick up read a line or two and keep it down. I get it, it's an old content and I guess I'm not too old yet to use it in my life yet. It's good to read for knowing new stuff or tactics in general. That's it.
It's kind of less than three. I wasn't boring. I loved how the characters were build but the end of the book it became too philosophical suddenly. Not against it but it didn't seem natural somehow. Also, the main character build was good but at the end it just seemed we became a bland.
Was it the best thriller? No. Was it a good thriller? Well, it felt predictable. It did have some really good twists. But they were overshadowed by loopholes and eye rolls. It got stretched and the writing was confusing, trying to be randomly poetic, then suddenly back to normal, maybe it was to show the state of mind of the person, I don't know. The characters seemed annoying and unreal, I couldn't empathise with the main character. I have a feeling the movie will be better than the book.
Honestly, I haven't felt this satisfied after reading a book for a long time. Such a beautiful sad story with this uncomfortable writing which I fell in love with by the end.
