It's an interesting premise that I found myself enjoying more than I expected to. Very mysterious and it's wild to think about because I'm sure something like this exists in real life. I kept wondering if I would do the same. Then again, I don't like kids and I will never be having any of my own, so I'd never be a target anyway lol

While not as funny as the movie, this book was still endearing and had quite a few funny moments. I can't imagine growing up with a family so big, it must have been so chaotic and I doubt anyone ever had a moment to themselves. It's wild to think about.

The plot was quite boring, the characters were bland and the main character was terrible. She's an arrogant, creepy, annoying bitch that acts as if the world revolves around her. Half the book was spent insulting the cop as if he's not just doing his damn job.

Literally, it felt like I was back on the playground watching the popular girl bully the nerd. SHE is the civilian that's interfering with HIS case and then she has the nerve to get mad at him and insult him - petty, childish insults at that.

What right does she have to get mad at him for closing down her party when SOMEONE DIED ON THE DAMN PROPERTY?? As if a real cop would ever allow a party to go on, to begin with. The dialogue felt weird, too, nothing that I can picture an actual human being saying unironically. 

Honestly, it would have been better if he arrested her for interference.

A cozy little mystery book with a lovely main character and a cute stray cat that finds itself a new home. I really like this cast of characters, though I must admit that the best friend really annoyed me at the end. Pamela said no but she kept trying to force/persuade her to go.

I know she cares and is just trying to help her friend, but nothing angers me more than someone trying to force you to do something despite repeatedly saying no, that you don't want to. It's very annoying.

Other than that moment, though, this book was delightful.

I did not cry at the end, I just had cat hair in my eye, okay.

This book was so good. It was creative, witty and just so lovely. I've always subscribed to the idea that cats are actually aliens, it makes a lot of sense when you think about it, so I thought this book would be a quirky, fun adventure. It was, but it was also quite emotional.

First off, can someone please get this child a therapist?? She is fucked up and needs help before she gets worse. Oh, my heart broke for her so many times. The narrator did a fantastic job here. His voice was calm but he still portrayed the emotions of the characters so well.

What was it Leonard said... I should have wrote it down. I think it was Panxiety? Panic and anxiety. Girl, I feel that all the time, I'm stealing this and using it in my everyday life lmao

It wasn't a bad book, but it struggled to keep my attention. It was just kind of boring and my mind kept wandering while listening to it.
