Rating System by Book Roast, I Love her! :)

This might be my new all time favorite book. I love Laini Taylor’s writing style so much it’s just perfect to me, she is so extremely talented and I love her romances and her characters 🤭

but this ending though I can’t function (I knew some of it was coming but... some decisions I don’t know) and now we probably have to wait until 2019 😭😭😭

I have to say I’m very wary about the second book. I don’t really know if I’m going to like where this is going and I’m not quite super happy with the ending.

But nevertheless I had an unbelievably wonderful time for 95% of the book. I will cherish it and probably buy the US version as well 😅

I loved this it was so much fun! And so many of the places I’ve already been too - loved to read about them again.

Notes: I didn't really like the main character, but enjoyed reading about the side characters. The plot was engaging but I wasn't really intrigued despite that.
I’d definitely recommend to people who love Percy Jackson it’s very similar.

LISTEN TO YOUR HEART by Kasie West

Total: 6,71 --- 3,5 stars

Notes: I didn't understand how the main character could not get what's going on the whole time its so obvious, I wasn't the biggest fan of her and the friendship between her and Alana, the plot revolved around her being kind of stupid, the audiobook was good, and I still like Kasie Wests writing, I recommend for a fluffy summer read

Audiobook: 7/10

Fun Fact: I bought all her books recently and I don't even have a decent explanation :D

RATING

Main character: 6 Lei

Writing: 7
Plot: 7
Enjoyment: 9
Atmosphere: 7
Diversity: 9 Chinese-American mc own voices
Intrigue: 9

Total: 7,75 --- 4 stars

Notes: I found the main character quite annoying, she was frankly pretty dumb and I didn't find her resistance remotely heroic - she should have been dead for acting so selfish and thoughtless if this world is really so badass it claims to be, that said the ending really made me want to continue reading and I devoured this story pretty fast.

Notes: I loved the references to the main characters culture and food, the diversity, the writing and Brooklyn atmosphere, I didn't like the main character, especially her thoughts towards both males, the romance and the overall plot and I wasn't intrigued, this short book took me pretty long, I was shocked that she didn't call the police on one occasion because of a disgusting character
