the art style was beautiful, the topic and theme was intriguing but i gotta say falling for a humanoid robot ain't normal no matter how much of a human they look, and Key still looked robotic, also he really lacked a personality so their relationship felt very uncooked, couldn't see why they loved each other at all...
a fast novella listen, it was interesting and gothic. don't know what else to say as i already knew how its gonna go from all the spoilers lol, but as an idea for the time is probably very cool
it was a good listen, but i admit that it felt a bit, how do i say this, basic and very much about how introverts should mask and the like. as an autistic it felt a bit uncomfy because some characters the author called introverted and shy seemed to be autistic too, but not know, and give the idea that autistic traits are introverted traits... otherwise it was fine and a bit inspirational as an introvert with big dreams
this was so sweet, the illsutrations were so cozy and i just loved the story, defiently related to all three girls
this was great, definetly enjoyed listening to her voice and childhood stories, struggles and motives. she defiently is a neurodivergent queen
pretty fun and educational, it had myths from all across the world (although not from my culture, we're not well known) and the illustrations were beautiful!
now i think this one was the best memoir i've ever read, simply great as an audiobook, narrated by Trevor Noah himself of course. his childhood was crazy

i finally listened to this book! it was very good, i liked how well it was explained and shown, kids esepcially non muslim, non arab or brown kids will learn a lot about their fellow classmates or kids in their towns. as a muslim i found it relatable, and i loved how Jude wears her hijab in the right time by her choice! loved to see it done more in MG/YA books.
i don't know what to say about this book exactly, it's a bit too crazy to think about, but also real. it feels like her family is similar to mine but also 10x worse, it's odd. i don't even understand if she's religious anymore, if this was always about religion, or about mental illness, abuse, and just toxicity. it's weird really.
i dunno man, i feel like this book was advertised wrong, it sounded like a fricking alternate historical and political dystopia, but it wasn't. it was more like an alternate historical sports book. yeah, it was exactly like a sports book, except the sport was sci-fi futuristic, and even though it had some politics, it wasn't that much, mostly just about USSR and China being against the US and whatever. the mc was Chinese and white American, but she passed as white. she was a girl in a sport mostly dominated by boys, but the finalists were girls, so i guess it wasn't bad. the whole who is poisoning the players bit was so easy, i guessed it right away. but i'll say it wasn't a waste of time, i liked imagining what the Pax games would be like back in my country, although we weren't really a country of our own as we were with Yugoslavia unfortunately, and apparently they lost fast lol.
