This book feels so much like a diary than a story. And then Nikhil does this. And eats this. It got exhausting after awhile and seemed aimless. The reason I gave it an extra star is for how vividly I could picture everything because of those (over) descriptions.

Even though I didn't get many recipes to use out of this cookbook, I have to say I love Moosewood cookbooks - you know that you can get some great vegetarian recipes including ones for show as well as everyday. In that regard, this cookbook didn't disappoint.
