As an avid reader of all the Maggie Hope mysteries, I was a little disappointed in this one. It had a much larger cast so it wasn't until probably 60% thru the book that I knew who everyone was. Because this was an ARC, there were a few grammatical errors I am sure will be fixed before final publication.

This book is waaay too academic for me. It is like the author decided to write the book, then use the synonym finder tool in Word. I've read theory before, but this isn't theory - this is just plain hard to read writing.
