It's a long time since last I read a "choose your adventure book" and had a lot of fun in reading this one.
It's a good fantasy story and I enjoyed exploring the different paths and discovering new parts of the story.
The author is a talented storyteller and the world building is excellent.
Highly recommended.

This book was a lot of fun as it's engrossing and highly entertaining.
A plot full of twists, well written characters, an interesting enemy-to-lovers story.

A sweet and festive holiday romance, it made me smile and root for the characters. I wasn't a fan of another Christmas story by this author but I enjoyed this one.
The plot is well developed and flows, the characters are fleshed out and likeable.
I liked the festive atmosphere and the romance.

Kitt Hartley mysteries is one of my favorite series and I always thoroughly enjoy the story.
This one was no exception even if I missed some of the characters.
It's a complex story set on cruise ship and Kit is apparently channeling her inner Sherlock Holmes but, at the same time, is shaken by the death of a mysterious old friend and reflecting on the impact of her investigation on her view of people.
The mystery is complex, full of twists, and there's a sort of locked room enigma and plenty of secrets.
I liked Rebecca, Kitt's twin, as she's a likeable and grounded person. I was glad to catch with the characters and liked the romantic part.
I had a lot of fun and read this book in one setting.
Highly recommended.

I noticed that most of the review talks about the graphic rape. I read a lot of grimdark and read the Marquis De Sade so I didn't find it shocking but it would have been better if it was a bit less graphic and detailed.
I liked the style of writing but the story didn't work for me as I felt like a lot of details of the world building were missing
Not my cup of tea.

When I think of chocolate I think of "The food of the God" but i didn't know the darker side of its story.
It's a well written and well researched book that kept me reading and made me reflect and learn something new.
Highly recommended.

As good as any Peanuts book, I loved it.

This is an excellent, fast paced and gripping novel that I read in one sitting.
It starts as classic whodunnit but it's also full of irony about the show-biz and a certain type of high class.
Plenty of suspects and possible culprits, I wasn't able to guess who-did-it and why.
I don't want to spoil anything but some of the topics are quite modern and they seem to anticipate more modern mysteries.
The last part was breathtaking and I couldn't guess the last twists.
I had a lot of fun and highly recommend it.

This book made me smile, cry a bucket and turn pages as fast as I could.
It's slow burning and the first part is an introduction to the story as well as a recap of what happened.
It talks love, family, sacrifice. It's poignant, gripping and entertaining.
I love the Owen women, I cried saying goodbye to Jet and welcomed the new generation.
There're new characters, there's plenty going and plenty of mysteries being solved.
I don't know if we will meet these women again, I would be happy to know what will happen after the last chapter.
Even if it could be read as a standalone it can be fully appreciated if you read the previous book.
I loved it and it's strongly recommended.
