A dark, gripping and well researched book that made me understand what was London at the end of the 70s.
It's a mythical time if you think of the musical scene but it was also a bleak time on the politica and social side.
The book is well researched and there are plenty of references to papers, the characters are fleshed even if not always likeable.
It was an interesting, informative and fascinating read as the author is a good storyteller.
Highly recommended.

It's the first thriller I read by Joanne Harris and I can only say "WOW" as it's brilliant.
A gripping, twisted and dark story that kept me turning pages as I wanted to know what was going to happen.
Ms Harris is a talented storyteller and her characters, plot and setting and wonderfully written.
Even if it's part of a series it can be read as a stand alone, I will surely read the rest of the series.
Highly recommended.

Lisa Regan's books are always gripping and highly entertaining but this one is the best I read so far.
It's poignant, heartbreaking at time, full of twists and turns.
It's a mystery but also a book about grief and how it can break a person and the difficult path to move on.
There's a tragedy, there are killings and secrets, lot of secrets.
Berne, the father of the transactional analysis, wrote that any "if only" thought is a way to be unhappy. This story contains a lot of "if only/what if", tragedy, unhappiness, misinterpretations.
Ms Regan is a talented storyteller and the plot and character development are excellent.
Josie is frailer and stronger at the same time, I was happy to read about the team working together and I appreciated the empathy toward all the victims.
An excellent read, highly recommended.

Interesting novella, fun and entertaining.
I wasn't a fun of the end as I don't like cliffhanger but liked the story and the characters. I will read the next book in this series

It's a good paranormal romance with some heartbreaking moments. Engrossing and entertaining.
The characters are fleshed out and the world building interesting
I'm not a fan of the final cliffhanger but it made me wish I could read the follow up soon

I loved Home Before Dark, a wild and exciting right. I enjoyed this one but it's not as exciting and the previous book.
Charlie is an interesting, unreliable narrator and you never know if she living in her mind or in the real world.
Well developed character, a plot that flow.
Unfortunately I guessed the final twist quite early in the book and this limited my fun as I spent the book trying to check clue.
A good book but I missed the exciting part.

I loved this book and read it as fast I could. A fascinating, terrifying and gripping mix of fiction and facts, a story written as a true crime that kept me turning pages.
