An interesting, well written and complex story.
I loved the characters and learned a lot about South Africa and it's political history.
The characters are well thought and the descriptions of the different places are fascinating.
The plot is a bit confusing at times but I enjoyed.
Recommended.

Even if it's well written and gripping I found hard to connect to Nadine and the story didn't keep my attention.
Not my cup of tea.

I'm a huge fan of Darynda Jones and she never fails to deliver highly entertaining and gripping stories.
This one is no exception and it's a page turner I couldn't put down, I loved a Bad Day for Sunshine and adored this one.
Sunshine is a great character: she's strong willed, funny and with a strong sense of justice. The women in Daryinda Jones' stories are always great characters. people you would like as friend.
There's plenty of quirky characters but there's also plenty of emotions and they're all well thought and likeable.
Ms Jones is a master storyteller, the plot flows and there's a lot of twists and turns. I laughed, rooted for Sunshine.
I strongly recommend it.

Another excellent addition to this gripping series, I think it's the best one so far.
It's adrenaline-fuelled, riveting and heartbreaking at times.
As I worked as social worker with children this was a bit hard to read as I met children like those featured in this stories.
I appreciated the empathy of the author and how he avoided any unnecessary gruesome details.
There's plenty of victims in this story but there's also plenty of evil, real evil.
The collaboration between Lexi and Don is great and I love the well thought and relatable characters.
It was an engrossing, emotionally charged and gripping read that kept me turning pages.
Can't wait to read the next story in this series.
Highly recommended.
