Fun to read and entertaining. It would perfect in the hardcover format.
Lovely drawings and good introduction to the different chapters in the Beatles story.
I would love to read the entire book as the ARC stops at the Shea Stadium.
A must have for Beatles fans.

I wanted to read this book since I read the synopsis for the first time as I'm fascinated by India and was curious to read a fantasy book with an Indian inspired world building.
I had high expectations and they were met because this book is amazing.
Even if it's sometimes slow paced it kept me hooked till the last page and I wasn't able to put it down.
The world building is amazing, something completely different from the usual fantasy world. It's complex and enthralling, a parallel history setting very fascinating.
The plot start slowly and for a long time it seems that anything is happening then - WOOSH - the plot starts going and it's a wonderful reading experience.
The characters are amazing, well written. This book features one of the best villain I read in quite a long time.
The style of writing is elegant and clear, I really liked it.
I cannot wait to read another book by this author.

This the second book in the Chronicles of The One series and I found it amazing even if I didn't read the first one.
I'm used to think about Nora Roberts as a romance writer but this was a solid and well written fantasy book, one the best I read this year.
Ms Roberts surely can write a powerful and enthralling book with an amazing world building.
The book is fast paced, I read it in two sitting even if it's over 400 pages long.
It never bores, you never want to skip a page as it's entertaining, engaging and fascinating.
As I already said I loved the world building as much as I loved the characters and their development.
I look forward to reading the next instalment and will surely read the first one in this wonderful series.

I love British Library Crime Classics and this was no exception.
I was curious about a book set in the soccer world and it was interesting to have a look at that world.
The mystery was a classic whodunit, engaging and entertaining.
I loved the plot, solid and without no plot hole, the cast of characters and the setting.
There was a bonus added because I discovered the movie and had pleasure in seeing it.
A very good mystery, highly recommended!

I love British Library Crime Classics and this was one was really good.
It was a good mystery and an interesting look at how the British Parliament was working between the two wars.
I was hooked since the first pages and couldn't put it down.
The mystery was sound, no plot hole, the cast of characters is likeable and the settings interesting. The description of the British parliament life are based on the writer experience and are lively.
A good mystery and an interesting look at the parliamentary life.

When I requested this book I was curious about "a demonic hen, a cow that acts like a dog, and a dog that acts human".
This means I had some expectations and they were met.
