This book was a fun read! The different stories were both funny and poignant even with with different level of interest.
I loved the style of writing that is really witty and tender at same time.
A must read for whoever is interested in stories about collectibles.

I did a dance of joy when I was approved for this book as I really liked "How to Build a Girl".
I started reading it and it was the beginning of a wonderful travel full of laughters, memories and nostalgia.
Everything was wonderful and fun to read and gave me a lot of food for thoughts at the same time.
This book is hard to review because it's hard to retell the pleasure I had in reading it.
Fun, pleasure of reading, memories, feminism.
A great book I highly recommend.

I loved the mix of library, art and dance. That's something quite unusual in a cozy mystery.
I found the plot fascinating and I got hooked since the first pages.
The artistic background is well researched and it's interesting to see how this was mixed in a cozy mystery.
Some aspects of this books are more women fiction than cozy mystery with some strong theme like acceptance, forgiveness and going with life after a big loss.
The mystery was good, maybe the culprit was a bit too easy to identify, but there're no plot hole and it was a page turner.
I loved the cast of characters, so human and real.

I think the book can be of interest if you want to learn about how to heal using magic. There's just few references to German folklore and German traditional healers.
I don't agree with the writer about the common tradition of Europe as there're different cultures and influences.
On a general level a nice read with some good idea and advices.
Recommended to whoever wants to read about healing using magic.

A real page turner that keep you hooked since the beginning and you're not able to put it down till the end.
A great spooky thriller with some paranormal aspects.
I loved this book. I love the characters and the two different voices.
The story is great, well developed and there's a very good description of the 80s using music and other pop references.
Reading was a real pleasure. I hope to be able to read other May Cobb books soon.

I don't always agree with the ideas of the writer but I really appreciated this well researched and interesting book.
As for many historical/political facts it's a matter of point of views so, as I'm just reviewing a book, I will not write about why I don't agree and what I think the right thing should.
You can agree or not but it was a really interesting read.

I never read anything by M R C Kasasian and this came as a great surprise.
I started the book and - BANG - I couldn't put it down.
I loved the humour and the funny events mixed with more serious parts like the start of the WWII and the position of the woman.
The main character is great, a bad ass heroine with a lot of humour. The entire cast of characters is likeable and well written.. The mystery was good and fun to read.
I loved the style that mixes different tones and gives each character his/her own type of language.
I look forward to reading other instalment in this series because this one was great.

A good mystery, enjoyable and fun to read.
I liked the cast of characters and the mystery was interesting. The book is well written and there's no plot hole or inconsistencies.
It was a bit slow at times and the final part was a bit rushed, sort of solution coming out of the blue.
I enjoyed it and hope to read another instalment soon.
