This was the first book i read in this series and it' was a pleasant and enjoyable read.
The plot is interesting and it kept me guessing, the cast of characters is likeable and I found some minor characters funny.
I really like the description of the small town and the relationship dynamics.
On the negative side I found that the heroine sometimes acted like a doormat and that was a bit I didn't like.

I read this book slowly in order to keep on reading and savouring the words and not to end the pleasure I had in reading it.
It made me laugh and it moved me, I loved the characters and their stories.
This is one of those book that makes you feel sad when they ends.
Highly recommended!

A good fantasy full of potential. The writer should do some more world building and add some more background to the characters.
An enjoyable read.

I liked this book: there's an interesting plot, a likeable cast of characters that are well written, and an interesting description of life of the sisters and of the little town.
I loved the two main female characters who are strong and not over the top.
There're some cons: too many descriptions of clothes/food and a bit of repetition of the same concept. I don't think it's relevant to the plot to describe nth time the cross the sisters are wearing.
This series has potential: some editing would help to turn it into a very good one.
Recommended.

An entertaining and enjoyable historical mystery with an interesting plot that kept hooked since the first pages.
I really appreciated the settings and how the characters were written without any unhistorical trait.
A good debut for a series and I look forward to reading further instalments.

I'm sorry I didn't read the first instalment in this series as this one is very good.
It reminds me of the Golden Age of Mystery books and it's well written and with an interesting plot.
I hope to read another instalment in this series soon.
