A good mystery with a realistic telling of family dynamics. The book is well wriiten, the plot interesting and kept me guessing till the end.
I liked the characters and the way the family iterations were written, very realistic and not a bit lovey dovey.
I look forward to read the next instalments.

A very good start for a new series. A bit darker and more serious than most cozy mystery, it's a well written and interesting book.
The cast of senior characters are described in a realistic way, with their health and life problems. Mikki, the heroine, is a sensible woman going through big changes in her life, the grief of losing her lifetime companion and the problems of reacquainting with her hometown.
The mystery was good and kept guessing till the end.
I look forward to read the next instalment in this series.

A good second instalment in this series. There is a lot of character building in this book as their relationships and personal stories are developed.
Sometimes the mystery takes the back seat to the human side but it's a fascinating reading and I really liked it.
The mystery it's very good and kept me guessing till the end.
I look forward to read the next instalment.

What a lovely book! I cried and laugh often at the same time. It's a book that talks about a cat but also about healing and age crisis.
The descriptions of the cat antics were great and the whole book is full of humour with a retrotaste of melancholy.
Strongly recommended to cat lovers and to whoever is going through age crisis.

A light to read and enjoyable travel book with a lot of reflections on solitude.
Even if it's a light read it's full of food for thought.
