I really liked the Paper Magician series and I really liked this book. It's a wonderful addition to a beloved fantasy world.
The book is a page turner well written and with great characters. I hope there will be further instalment in this series.

What a lovely story! It starts slow and it developed into something that enthralls you. The descriptions of Finland are fascinating and the book moves and entertains at the same time.

A wonderful historical mystery! This book can be read as standalone even if it's part of a series.
The well researched historical settings, the fascinating plot, and the interesting cast of characters kept hooked since the beginning.

A book I read like it was a novel. An interesting group of articles about the different sacks of Rome that is a history book and a telling of the city history.
Very interesting and fascinating.

I cannot say if I liked or not this book. The plot sounded interested but the book sounded a bit dry and not all the expectations were met.
The historical background is well reaserched but the development of the characters and of the plot could have been better.
