I remember having read an instalment in this series and really liked it. I also liked this one even if I found some parts a bit tiring.
The style of writing was good, the heroine quite likeable. There was no plot hole and it kept me guessing till the end
The main problem was with the high number of characters that sometimes appear in the book but there no explenations of who they are..
Even if I had some problems in understanding who was who the book kept hooked till the end.

I was attracted by the description of the book but it did not met my expectations.
It seems to me it's more a YA paranormal chick-lit than a paranormal mystery.
I liked some part and found tiring to read other.

A really good mystery, fun to read and fast paced!
I read the first one in this series and was not impressed but this one is really good.
I kept me hooked since the first pages and guessing till the end.
It's hilarious but describes the characters with a lot of tenderness and they are very well written.
I'll catch up with the previous instalments and cannot wait to read the next one.

It's not only a mystery but also the story of a woman, Lady Helena, and her path to healing and changing.
I really appreciated the heroine and the cast of characters.

This is the first book in a new series and I was expecting what usually happens in the start of a news series: the heroine is a suspect and she starts investigating in order to find the real culprit.
This is what happens but the book was quite slow in developing the story and it was not hard to understand who did it and way quite early in the book.
My main issue was with the heroine who is so full of issues, from panic attack to being a neat freak, that it ended being a bit too much on the neurotic side.
The start was really exciting but unfortunately it did not maintained the promises.

I had a lot of fun in reading this book. I liked the plot and the description and the way the story was developed.
It kept me guessing and hooked till the end and I will search the previous instalment.
I really liked the heroine, a tech woman is a bit unusual in the cozy mystery world!
I also liked the description of the friendship amongst the group of wine amateur women and the nosy neighbour.

What a good mystery! It was fun to read, full of interesting characters and kept me guessing till the end.
All the different parts, the zoo life description and the mystery part, are really interesting and entertaining.
The animal characters are lovely and my favourite one was the cuddly koala.
It's well written, the heroin is very human - a bit on the Rambo mode sometimes, and the developments of her love life are interesting.
It's strongly recommended.
