I really liked the mystery even if I didn't feel any connection to the heroine.
The mystery was good, the cast of characters interesting but sometimes the mystery took the backseat to the lot of emotional issues that were involved.
As it's not the first instalment in the series there were some references to previous books and sometimes they were not clear.
Sometimes it was not easy to read as there were some mistakes in the characters name (for instance referring to one character and calling her with the name of another).

A lovely and wonderfully illustrated book about Jane Jacobs.
Even if the target are children this could be a good way to learn more about an important intellectual.
I liked the way her life and achievement were told and the illustrations are wonderful.
Strongly recommended.

A nice and tender story about a Tyrannosaurus and a young Ptenarodont. The story and the illustrations are lovely. There's a strong message about caring for the others even if they scare us.

A good ghost story. There could have been some more character development but it was an entertaining reading.

I love this series! This first instalment was really and I'd high expectations for this new book.
All my expectations were met. Even if it's just the second book it was like reconnecting with a group of friends.
I love Sister Agatha and Father Selwyn as much as i love the cast of characters. Everyone has his/her quirks and specific traits and are well described.
The mystery is good, with no plot and the book kept me hooked since the first page.
It's strongly recommended.
